    328 was the end of the line for quality cars from Ferrari.

    Your pumps are outside the tank, modern cars have the pumps immersed inside.

    However pump failure seems to be unique to Italian cars, like Ferrari's sticky buttons.

    I must say, the things that have gone wrong with my car in 13 years of ownership have been minimal,,
    Besides belts and general servicing,
    Rear bank ignition leads have failed twice and the speedometer sender failed in 2020 on my way back up from Auto Italia..
    Oh and the A/C compressor crapped out 4 years ago as well which I replaced with a Sanden and is still holding charge.

    I overhauled the suspension in January and fixed the leaking shift shaft seal as well..
    Replaced the steering rack instead of overhauling my one at the same time,,Man what a difference that made with how it drives..
    The only thing i still need to do is have the pesky cam seal oil drip fixed, but I will do that at the next belt service when I check the valve clearances..
    It has probably been the cheapest car to run that I have ever owned..
