    Hi all

I wanted to share my proposed spec for my F8 Spider. I'm aiming for a conservative clean look with a Grigio Titanio exterior and Bordeaux interior. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Looks beautiful. If you are asking for suggestions, I would just add the carbon fibre to the side air intakes and yellow brake callipers. (I know you want understated, but I think the yellow badge + yellow centre caps need yellow brakes..

Just wondering, the central tunnel looks completely CF in the pictures, but in reality only the F1 bridge is CF (code CILR), isn’t it? The part below, which extends below the dashboard, will be leather or alcantara.

I think this is from option CITZ, which covers the entire upper tunnel in carbon fiber. The lower tunnel (near the floor) can be done in leather or alcantara instead of the default “car carpet” if desired under option … CTU3 if I remember right.

The Passenger Display greatly enhances the experience. I was talked out of it on my 488, got it on my F8. Myself and my passengers love the look and functionality.

I would get the CF Driver’s Zone rather than just the wheel. The CF tach bezel and paddles compliment the dash inserts nicely.

Thanks you both. The options that I selected are the following which are both reflected in my build:

CITZ - Visible Carbon Fibre Upper Tunnel
CILR - Carbon Fibre Central Console

Good suggestions. I'm a bit concerned that the yellow calipers would clash with the Bordeaux interior.

You already have yellow on the shield and the centre caps. The black callipers introduce yet another colour, that’s where I am coming from. I could not picture black callipers on this non red 488

Remember at the end of the day it is your car, and spec’ing a new ferrari is a bucket list item. Congratulations. The interior and exterior colours you have chosen are classy. Take input by all means, particularly on what options to get, but when it comes to style and colour don’t be too swayed by other people’s taste.

…or for even more understated you could go carbon fibre shields and centre caps, then your black callipers would blend right in

    So many choices :)

I love that spec with the yellow calipers and know exactly where you're coming from. Maybe I go with that but change the interior to a cuoio like your spec or a tortora instead of the Bordeaux.

I'm thinking the carbon shields and center caps are a bit too understated for me. Yes, lots of choices but I suppose we're very fortunate to have these kind of "problems". Thanks so much for your thoughtful suggestions. You definitely have me thinking ....

I will second that the passenger display is a fun option. Passengers love it, and it adds to the thrill

At this point, the extra $4.5k isn't going to move the needle and as you say the other half gets an extra thrill. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Yes, it is. My dealer was able to get me an allocation from Ferrari to replace an order that Ferrari cancelled for a non rule-abiding customer. Seems like Ferrari takes its rules very seriously.

He/she sold another Ferrari privately without honoring the dealer's right of first refusal
