Hi there, I'm trying to finalize, put some final touches on my order placed over a year ago and I'd like to get the glossy black 20" forged wheels. My SA is telling me it's over $8K but I don't seem to think he's right. Has anyone here order their F8 with this option and if so, what's the correct code and price?
    thanks!

If they are forged than $8-10K is in the right ballpark for any Ferrari model selection.

well they have a 20" forged in matte black for $6200 thererfore I don't see why they can't offer it in glossy for the same amount. The diamond wheel is the one that's over $8K.

They quoted me around $4,000 (CAD) to paint the standard 5-spoke wheels black.

Your SA is probably correct. You cannot use linear logic when it comes to Ferrari pricing. The least expensive way to get what you want is to buy OEM forged wheels aftermarket and simply have them re-painted. You can actually have them waiting for when the car shows up and throw them on immediately once your ride arrives. Buying the wheels out of state will frequently help you to also avoid paying sales tax. Vendors like Luxury Wheel Collection and Exoticcar Auto routinely repaint wheels for clients.

got it, just wanted to hear from others if they had a similar experience or if the diamond wheels were the only ones available to paint. BTW, I did have a Honda but dealer traded it for my 488, Wish I still had it!

Same here. Do yourself a favor and just have them refinished. I had them redone for around 750 in NYC. Your dealer is taking off the wheels, taking them to a local wheel shop where they'll be refinished and rob you blind.

Exactly! It only costs around $125 a tire to have them repainted where I live. But, it if you ask the dealer to do it they will add a healthy mark-up to the actual cost (which makes sense given that they are providing you a service). Many times they will take the wheel to the same shop you would!
