    Good morning to us all

For those of you who know me, great, for those who don't, not so great :) So, Im a 355 guy and have been flipping 355's for the last 15 years. Mostly from auction houses and totaled vehicles. I've been out of the game for a bit with the new house and other priorities, but, here's what I have realized in the last 2 years.

355s don't catch fire anymore.?????? Where before I would see at least 5-8 burnt totals from various insurance companies.

Can anyone logically explain the cause behind 355s not catching fire no more, at least lately?

The fuel block issue is more known and has been resolved by responsible owners. That and other cars are still not driven a lot so no fires for those. Yet.
    Just a guess.

Most cars revised the fuel block system over the years, i have restored a F355 and it was just a matter of time before the fuel line in the picture would burst, it did when I bent it, dry rotten and some previous owner used a vanilla rubber hose...crazy....

The problem(s) and solutions have been well known for decades.

F355's offered for sale in the current market seem to result in a higher sale price than insurance would pay for the same car burned up.

Would guess the opposite was true a few years ago.

Add to that as Tim said, (likely driven less as values go up).

    All speculation, not logical :)

Houses do tend to get in the way of car projects don't they Steve!, I thought you had been quiet on here. Hope you still have yours all tucked away. Mine are still waiting their turn, I cannot believe it's been over 8 years since you showed us the sights of LA :)

We need those toasted 355s as donors, I think they are mainly garage queens these days though.
