When was its last major? How old are the tires? How many owners? Any issues? How’s the paint? What’s the year? How’s the interior?

I would do the tires and the service and expect 70-90k at auction depending who’s in the market at the moment. Low miles and low number of owners is a big plus. Lack of maintenance is bid killer.

Being a TB should also bring a premium.

Trying to sell a Ferrari at that price on Facebook is idiotic.

Better to do the maintenance to cancel obvious objections and then let the market tell you its value. You guys can do the major and tires at wholesale. What year?

Just a few hours in and already at $75k. This is why you don’t put ugly wheels on your BaT listing even if *you* like them.

Those are ugly wheels. Why would they paint them like that?
Not much better than if they chromed them, imo but obv the market disagrees. Maybe because they should be easier to return to stock than if they were chromed.

I would also add that this car is otherwise better in nearly every way than that spider.

it makes them look lighter by removing the vane mass and only leaving the spoke.

I dig the wheels too. Very period correct. I think they probably only work on a black car though. Still, OEM would be better for BaT purposes.

I could definitely imagine someone in the 90s painting the windows to match the body color. I’m surprised I’ve never seen it, in fact.

This one is interesting. Looks to be a good car, but seller not too engaged and seems to be dodgy which seems to be effecting bids. Car should be much higher by now.

Honestly though, how does BaT let a convertible on their site with no pics of top?

And has it really been 15+ years since its last major?

Its certainly nice, it is however, atypical of the species. Regardless the price may have an influencing effect. How much we will see. I always believed folks will eventually see the 348 for the Ferrari awesomeness that is is, for the good ones at least. Its unfortunate so many are just clapped out, the late 90's early 2000's mid 30K price tags ensured that to some extent. That has a tempering effect on the price average.

And your comment on the photographs is very true. You can look at the car through a camera then lift the eye and look at it and to the eye it really looks different than the camera. I havwe doen that actually trying to understand. The camera simply does not capture the curves at all. Its rather unique to the 348 for some reason. Definitely in person, mouth's open where as in pics it's sort of, meh...
