    I know I have seen this on here is a somewhat common issue. Rear passenger side shock has a slight leak. Yes, I was a little surprised at the price of a replacement part at $2800. I’m sure I can go a while, but might as well get it done.

    You can also rebuild them. There’s someone named nagengast that offers this service on R8talk, so maybe he can do the FF as well. Good luck

    Had the same issue on my f12. Dealer wanted $3200/each shock (advised to replace both rear shocks). I thought the price sounded expensive (yes I know It's Ferrari...) so I called Scuderia Parts, they sold me the shocks for $1200/each. Same part, comes from the same warehouse, wrapped in the same Ferrari branded tape. Dealer parts manager did not want to match or even come close to the price, did not budge. Service Manager advised me to order the parts from Scuderia then bring them to him and they would install them. I would not consider myself a "cheap" guy but to pay a dealer an additional $4000 (2 shocks) for the identical part is just ridiculous.
