Can I ask you how many cars you have in your history with them? I just want to understand if it was just for the hyper clients ir if my dealer just made different decisions..
They are producing 8000 V12 units total at this point not a year total. Remember the EV version is coming in 2025. So at 8000 Its not just Halo clients
Could you please site the source for this "8000 V12 units total"? From what I know, based on current production abilities and other current commitments (SP3,812C/812CA/812GTS/F167), if that 8000 refers to number of FUVs with a V12, it will take at least 5 production years to achieve that goal, maybe more as new commitments appear (SP4/SP5, if those Iconas use a V12 which is not certain). As for the all EV version (of FUV), I believe it will be revealed in 2025 as Ferrari has made this well known, however, actual production, I believe, will be starting in 2027 or 2028...my biases are based on Ferrari having zero experience with a full EV and they are currently taking well more than 1 year after reveal to put a hybrid into production, a full EV is something entirely different...and I believe will take 2+ years to put into production from reveal.
No, I'm not a top client. Currently have a Speciale, TDF and GTC4 Lusso. 12 cars in total history with my dealer.
I have invite to 14th. I have at this point over 18 cars in my history and four on order counting PS. Not sure I can go due to timing. (Edited after checking my history on My Ferrari) Where are you ? My feeling was North American clients were not invited generally. I have a factory tour September 9 so it made sense. And I could not get a TM appt at that time either. I don’t think I’m anything other than a good client. I did meet E Franchi when I was at the factory in 1980 with my father. Other than that not special. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My dealer told me that the first round of event invites were only to TOP customer level, and that if the dealer could not fill their allocation with TOP customers, then they invite VIP level customers
From today there are 18 days left until the unveiling of the Purosangue to the VIP customers and, hopefully, to the world as well. Below are the pictures of two accurate scale models of the Levante and the initial Purosangue mule with a Levante body. It is quite evident the mule's lower ride height and wider body. I don't think its going to change much if at all from the leaked images now. The one thing that is sorta hiding in the leaked images is what could be air bridges like on the F12
Any thoughts (or leaks) on what the official name of the Purasangue will be? Tough one to guess given it is a brand new model in a new class for Ferrari.
I have been asking myself the question related to the name of the car for a while. But at the same time I also wonder if the fact that the name "Purosangue" appears several times in official Ferrari documents means something. With a friend we talked about the names of the latest GTs: Portofino was launched in Portofino Roma was launched in Roma. The "Purosangue" will be launched in Tuscany, in Lajatico in the middle of the hills. A magical place where horses run fast! But no place there is called "Purosangue"... "Purosangue" is a horse breed developed in the Kingdom of Italy by Royal Decree n° 2690 of 19 September 1875, which created a stud book dedicated to the breed. I think that's just the right name. Everyone has gotten used to this name, which I personally find fascinating and follows precisely what the F175 will be: a true 360°Ferrari. What do you think? Image Unavailable, Please Login
So why not just call it Tuscany ? (Tuscany is known for its landscapes, history, artistic legacy, and its influence on high culture. It is regarded as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and of the foundations of the Italian language). Very power name with a rich legacy
I'm Tuscan and honestly Ferrari Toscana sounds really bad to me. Thank you on behalf of the Tuscans haha. I think we need a name that is in a certain sense epic, aggressive but elegant, sporty and meaningful
I FULLY agree, I would be disappointed if the name would NOT be "Purosangue", love it for all the reasons you mentioned. Difficult to imagine that they could do/find anything better at this stage.
Ferrari don't own the rights to it. https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/future-cars/a30750318/ferrari-purosangue-name-lawsuit/
Interesting... but this article is more than 2 years old. And them mentioning Purosangue still today...I do not expect surprises in two weeks when we all will see.
