What makes you say Japanese Ferrari are always LHD; I know that became a fashion but as a RHD country I’m sure a few ‘drivers’ would have ordered the matching spec?

What Patcentage of new cars would be LHD?

Unless it’s 100% “always” is a bit strong.

In terms of prestige cars, I’ve read somewhere about 99% are LHD. It’s a status thing, NFI why

Good God! Why on earth would anyone turn one of the best looking Ferraris of the last 30 years (512TR) into one of the worst?
The M is visually an utter abomination in every respect, with what must surely be the ugliest wheels in the history of Ferrari.

    The mind boggles.

All IMO of course (as someone blessed with the gift of sight). :)

Buttt technically you still have a tr right [emoji12]
And it may be a little ugly but fabulous and unique nevertheless.(Perhaps with $20k you could reverse the conversion, I wonder if the motor is tr:)

Previously for sale unsuccesfully on Carsales by a "well known" owner / broker type.
Looking at the pictures, the VIN plate on the doorjamb does not look like the typical green Low Volume Compliance plates I've seen on other F355 spiders o_O

The VIN plate is correct for the imported year. It’s just in the wrong location. The rear panel where it’s normally located is missing a shroud and the rear solid panel that surrounds the tail lights has visibly bent mounts. Probably accident repaired and the vin plate relocated incorrectly.

Yes but the VIN plate is actually correct for the Model year. 97 onwards the plate was changed and the green was different. The 348 and 95/96 F355 had the plate that is depicted on the spider for sale. The plate is the right one and type it’s just been re fitted in the wrong location.
