Why they pitted for fastest lap when they weren't in the same league today confuses me. The risk just wasn't there to do that today
Pitting LeClerc at the end backfired but … why not? It’s time to gamble. I wouldn’t have done it, but it wasn’t the worst gaffe this year by any stretch. The pit speeding penalty is on LeClerc, right? And hats off to Carlos. Holding off Russell required great, focused, error free driving. He did the best that could be done today.
All we can do really. Absolutely amazing. Leclerc doesn't agree with pitting but does it anyways...speeds in pit, and stitll doesn't get fastest lap. So instead of gaining 1 point on Max he lost 2, net loss 3 points.
Max's name on the WDC trophy already. Carlos will probably end up ahead of delicate(in the head) Charles. Ferrari team needs a re-do for sure. George really looking good in the Merc.
