    Also Prost had very tough rivals with equaly good cars.

    That's why he remains my favourite driver.

    I even forgive him being French. :p

    There is that. Not to open Pandora's box but you could make similar arguments about the fifties, sixties and seventies when there was close to no safety, huge performance differences in cars and drivers and very few GPs (like 8 races counting to the WDC a year in the fifties).

    Yeah.. I think that all of these type of records (#wins, #points, #races, etc.) should really be adjusted when used to compare drivers of different generations. For example, how's many wins would Schumacher have had if race seasons had 22-23 races per season during the Ferrari domination years? Its crazy that the most # wins in one season is still held by him (I believe 13 wins) considering the domination of Mercedes and the 20+ races per season during their reign.

    That's insane when you think about it, especially when you consider his worst finishes are the 6th place was due to a complete and utter wing **** up on red bulls part (only adjusting one side and it being visually way off), and the other being torpedoed by Mercedes.

    I am British by birth and filiation, since my father was British, and I consider myself first and foremost British.
    French is a nationality of convenience I received it at 18 following a court decision following my parents divorce.
