Solid spec. Did you also get the rear spoiler under section painted?

Well done and enjoy! Also left Lambo due to "can't fit" issue. No interest in 750 and went for Purosangue going to Italy in a few weeks.
LT arrives and looking forward to seeing and driving what could be one of the best Spiders ever built.

It’s a one off color. We took Dove Grey and added blue sparkle to it to complement the blue inteiror. Dove grey is a flat paint and mclaren does metallic so well that they now call this color Dove Spark.

these are the original color samples showing the flat dove grey and the turtle painted dove soark.

I’ll get some better photos once PPF and stuff is done- but here is a shot in the sun where you can see the blue sparkle:

You're probably aware that McLaren is dropping alphanumeric names. Following Senna, Elva, Speedtail, and Artura
Three names have been trademarked. They are Solus, Aeron, and Aonic .
    https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a37911436/mclaren-trademarks-new-names/

But, until a name is assigned, I think people will refer to the 720S successor as 750S or 820S ;)
and as you mentioned, 750S could be used for a facelift/mid-cycle update.

Cannot believe this post has been around for a while. Just spent some time reading everyone’s post, and I gonna see I saw lots of interesting opinions. Have been driving more in the 991.2 GT3 RS, 992 GT3 and STO, even a 2.3 mile run in the 765, for the past 10 months, I would say that it really all comes down to preference because each model from each brand present something so damn different. ;)
I appreciate the power from the 765. Omg. It literally feels faster than LaFerrari, which is the best car I’ve ever driven. The steering feedback is better than I remember in 720. It is much sharper in the 765 and definitely more feedback than my Pista. Hopefully I can get more chance of driving it on track.
I still find that Porsche deliver the best steering feedback after driving 991.2 GT3 RS and 992 GT3. Maybe it is just me. I love to have all the feedback from the road to the steering wheel. Not a big fan of the design language of Porsches, but I’m fine with the current looks.
STO, however, is not the dish for me. For reason in the past 5 years, I found myself valuing least about the angry wow factor or sound a car makes when I make purchase decision. Yes, it looks mad and sounds amazing in the world of turbocharging cars. But the lack of delicacy, and weird feedback from the steering, and the lack of power, compared with Pista and 720s, makes me hard to love this car.
But hey, I guess anyone has their favorite tricks isn’t it?:)

Still waiting for PDI and PPF to be complete. Currently scheduled to pick up car on Friday. I’ll post a bunch of pics over the weekend once all the crap is off the car and it looks shines and clean.

I think these keys may be my favorite thing so far!

My dealer told me next up is a Solus-a new hypercar and very limited at that. Also said the 720 successor would be called a 750 (s?) It wont be limited as we expect.
He did say the P1 replacement is coming as well - called the P18. P1 owners get first rights, than Elva owners, and rest are for whoever can get an allocation as long as they own or owned McLaren's like a Senna or 765LT. I put my name and deposit down for one so we shall see!

    Solus already released. Track only.
750 is 720 stop gap replacement before they go hybrid. Same as F8. Not limited but limited in the time they are going to make it.
    Good luck on the allocation.

    Ty! Can’t wait till tomorow.

here are some decent pics from my dealer. Car still hasn’t been cleaned or PPF yet so it’s a bit dingy- but gives you a good idea of color and spec:
