Okay, I now have my F8 Coupe and friends are asking me about which parts are a tribute to what models. I've been looking online but can't seem to find the list. I emailed my SC but he's on Ferrari time! [emoji23] Appreciate your help!

Not a tribute to any model but to the V8.
From the press release. The name is an homage to both the model’s uncompromising layout and to the engine that powers it – with a massive 720 cv and a record specific power output of 185 cv/l, it is the most powerful V8 in Prancing Horse history for a non-special series car and sets the benchmark not just for turbos, but for engines across the board. The 3902 cc V8 won “Best Engine” in the International Engine of the Year awards three years running in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and, in addition, in 2018, was awarded the title of the best engine of the last two decades.

    Also from another article:

Tributo in Italian mean tribute in which the F8 pays homage to the last 45 years of Ferrari’s mid-engine V8’s.

Twin taillight clusters hearkens back to the styling originating with the 308 GTB.

    From the press release:

“The spoiler wraps around the tail lights, visually lowering the car’s centre of gravity and allowing a return to the classic twin light cluster and body-coloured tail, another signature of the early 8-cylinder berlinettas like the very first in the legendary series, the 1975 308 GTB.”

"The new F8 Tributo is the highest expression of a mid-engine two-seat sports car. As the name implies, it pays tribute to Ferrari's iconic twin-turbo V8, the "best engine" of the past two decades according to motoring experts. In the F8 Tributo, this magnificent power unit produces 720 cv, the highest output ever for an internal combustion-only production Ferrari V8 engine. It offers performance that is both phenomenal and accessible: 0-100 km/h acceleration takes just 2.9 seconds, 0-200 km/h takes 7.8 seconds. Incredibly, that is only about a second slower to 200 km/h than the legendary 963 cv LaFerrari."

"The F8 Tributo replaces the 488 GTB, acknowledged as one of the finest of all Ferrari berlinettas. It produces 50 cv more power, is 40kg lighter and is 10 percent more aerodynamically efficient. A great sports car is now even better. The engine, though, is the star. The revised V8 is not just amazingly powerful and tractable, it also has an astonishingly soulful and exhilarating engine note-music that only a Ferrari can deliver. A magnificent engine is always at the heart of a Ferrari. This is especially true of the F8 Tributo."
