Read this post by a guy over on MECF. This is the stereotypical perception of vette owners.
In talking about performance he unironically states that quite often he gets it up to 2500 rpm. WTF!? I mean seriously, WTF!?

I hope that's a typo on his part.

 

I think you read this incorrectly.

The car will make a loud pop in Z mode if you shift above 2500. Below that, no. With the top down its really obvious.

I drive in Z mode most of the time unless I'm highway cruising.

Out with a couple friends today...we were feeling patriotic..
(Mine is the blue one.)

 

Had my oil change and 7500 mile service. Not cheap at $700 considering most of it was the engine oil change and the air cleaner.

 

Looks like the days of the $350 service visit are over.

 

what is the best way to detail engine bay?
also, the black plastic collects water spots.

 

Got my Vin on Thursday and just got an Onstar Notification that it’s active and the car has 2 miles on it. I guess I’ll have it in a week or so. It’s been a 14 month wait from Ciocca at MSRP.

The prices seem to be coming down on the cars here in the Dallas area so as soon as I can get one at or near MSRP I would love to have a loaded 3LT with the lift.

 

Car was delivered to me and it’s outstanding. I drove it about 50 miles before I took it to detailer for PPF and I love the balance and quality. No it’s not a Ferrari, but I’m planning to use it as a daily driver and so far I’m very happy with it.

Hmm..Bubbling paint problems. Maybe GM hired some painters from Maranello.

 

Got an oil change where I bought the car. '21 C8 Z51. Correct oil plus 8 quarts of the correct oil. $129.34

 

You're right...it's not a Ferrari...and that is a good thing in many ways.

 

You need to find a new dealer.
And why are they replacing the air filter so soon? There's "air filter life" in the DIC, my car has 10,957 miles on and air filter is showing 61%
