With the steel ball models reaching crazy high price levels, I don't see the F1 360 market following the uptick. IMO, the F1 360's are an incredible value right now. Who here has the crystal ball as to what the future has in store for these cars price-wise?

Gated prices will always tow up the "next best thing".

Furthermore, I think we will see the delta shrink more-so as more aggressive players enter the conversion market. Over time, I believe more people will become enlightened to just how special the single-clutch sequential transmissions are and the incredible development they represented for their time. With so many conversions taking place, I do not see F1 parts being hard to come by in the future.

I agree with you - the F1 360's are very misunderstood and, as such, represent an inefficiency in the current market.

“Steel ball prices” made me lol.

Once there are enough millennials buying the 355/360 it’ll rise a bit more from where it is now.

Ya, I hear that one a lot! Is not Toyota, Hyundai, Ford trucks and Honda the hottest Millennial cars? Oh ya, Mustang GT's and Dodge Chargers / Challengers must be up there too.

I mean I’m a millennial and whenever I drive my millennial friends in my car they love it fwiw.

But in the local marque-specific clubs in my area it seems the younger folks are more into that Italian tractor company.

I see that also in Phoenix at the High Street cars and coffee. Seems like 8 or 10 to 1, the youngsters like their bulls and us old farts enjoy our horses!

I’m a Millennial as are most of my peers. Ford trucks are hard to beat, so are Hellcats. Otherwise none of my buddies would be caught dead in anything on your list!

Lambos come with a stigma that I don’t want to be a part of. Just like Corvettes.

As the gated versions rise, it will lift the F1’s with it keeping the same price gap we see today. It’s getting harder to find 360’s sub 100k in F1’s. It’s the first modern Ferrari with a more subtle and sleek look than the 430. The 360 is aging well and when I was kid, it was the Ferrari I always wanted which is why I bought mine. I would assume more people in my age bracket might feel the same causing the demand to increase as we enter our 40’s and can actually afford the car and it’s upkeep now.

Do you mean 'very well sorted'? Most F1 360's I see now with, say 30-45K miles are floating around $85K-ish.

I've been watching BaT and Carguru's for years and it appears to me that we've already reached "peak" 360 prices and the trend is downward. There's a nice F1 360 on BaT right now that looks like it won't break $70k.

    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2001-ferrari-360-spider-39/

At the peak, broken and trashed F1's were going for more than $70k regularly and well sorted cars hit over $100k easily.

    Says you!!

I have come to like the F1 gearbox (I have always been a manual man) but as roads get busier, the F1 makes even more and more sense. It is a sign of the times and also the older they get the more quirky and accepted they will be become.

I just want people to carry on doing manual conversions as well, the pendulum will swing at some point and then it will be an original, unmolested state of the art (at the time) F1 gearbox equipped 360 or 430 the that will be desirable, rare and pricey!!

Colour and Spec makes a massive difference with these cars, it would be making quite a bit more than that if it was a Red / Crema for example!

I think most strive to buy a well sorted Ferrari. A high mileage not well sorted Ferrari barely sub 80k is impressive. The values are creeping up. I won’t ever sell my 15k mile 03 360 Modena for less than 90k.

Very good to know. Mine is TDF with tan interior, 37K miles and extremely good records. One minor accident that was a nothing burger for the PPI mechanic and my local mechanic. Good to see these F1 prices stable / going up. They are certainly wonderful machines. I am keeping the miles off during the hot Phoenix temps for the time being, waiting for low 90's to get out and drive a bit.

I'd agree that an unsorted and in need of a major, in a non-sought after color going for $77k + BAT fee + shipping + tax + major service demonstrates these aren't going any lower. A McDonald's happy meal is $10 these days for crying out loud. Don't think Ferrari's are getting any cheaper soon:)

It sold for 77k and the seller estimated it needed 15k worth of work. The color was also not the most desirable. Blue interior carpet? I never knew that existed.

I honestly can't see the attraction of a 430 when parked alongside a 360 (especially in Modena guise). Yes it has 110 more bhp, but we all know you have to be pretty gifted on a dry road with great tyres to really see the difference. But a 360 is just class. Opinion only!

We went 430 over 360 when comparing head to head. Came down to more modern interior, better F1 and that wicked shark nose. I'd be happy with either of course.

Interesting, I find the shark nose to be the least desirable attribute of the F430, obviously just my opinion

I have virtually the same car (color/mileage/upgrades) as that sold on BaT. A dealer offered me $102.5K wholesale 2 months ago. I think the pullback in the market has the biggest influence on pricing. $77K I think was a good buy.

Good job we are all different, the 360 is my least favourite looking Ferrari I know some think the 430 only has subtle differences, but to me they all add up to a much better looking car!

Oh and I love the Shark nose!

They have always made great cars with more rarity, less so now, but they still carry some of that pre-Audi mystique.

That’s interesting. One of the best selling Ferrari’s of all time that required Ferrari to build so many to reach the demand is the worst looking Ferrari in your eyes? The 360 and 430 are the best in my eyes. The 458 and above are lost on me. I would prefer a Huracan or McLaren over the newer ones. The 360 started everything and the looks of the car were so far ahead of its time. It’s the first exposed glass motor if I’m not mistaken for Ferrari.
