Ferrari just adds embarrassment to shame. Watching this race will be like going to a funeral. There is no logical reason not to fire Binotto immediately. Leaving him in place only makes the team's decline worse because it shows a company afraid to act dramatically to stop the bleeding. Binotto's answers and refusal to even admit there is a problem with his staff is pathetic. Between now and Singapore, replace everyone in the pits and on the pit wall. Yes, they will struggle, but at least they will get better. It doesn't matter this year where Ferrari finishes. We should have been first, and Binotto and his team have totally failed to deliver that. A new crew can use the rest of this season to build for a strong 2023.

The last two years have been eventful races at Monza, with the McLaren 1-2 and Gasly winning, lots of tough passing and contact in the multiple chicanes, so here's to a great race! I don't want to talk about VER/HAM at the first chicane last year, but watching other cars manage to give each other room there shows that it can be done, obviously two cars can't occupy the same space (unless they're stacked up!)

Following the Mille Miglia accident which occured in May 1957, Ferrari kept on participating in F1 under the Scuderia Ferrari entry.

yes, but if I remember correctly - in Italy there has to be someone responsible for the accident - and Enzo and Ferrari went through a lot of legal troubles during that time .. and he fought with the italian racing club for sponsorship...I think that was the cause....

But what has it to do with one yellow Ferrari at Spa in 1961? The other Ferraris were red on that day.

Gendebien's Sharknose was yellow possibly to represent Equipe Nationale Belge, usually having Coopers in that colour.

Better not involve Binotto on any decisions regarding tires. That includes team buses.

Possibly that, as well as that it was simply in recognition of and respect for Gendebien. I have the E.N.B. book but it’s been years since I read it, so when I have time I’ll see if the matter is addressed.

This race doesn’t even matter to the Scuderia. Their seasons been over for several races now. They have no intention of challenging for the title and couldn’t even if they wanted to. Not because of the car, because of the management and strategy.

Realistically, would have been hard to strip and repaint after the previous race only 1 week earlier. You can see the only did the detachable top of the engine cover, probably so they only have to repaint these for the next race.

    That's a good point.

Loving the rear wing with Yellow Ferrari written on it however. They should keep that...
