Its pointless in that its only unique because of the badges on the side. I'm sorry -- if they put Prancing Horse badges on a Toyota I wouldn't buy it.
Well…I own both a brand new Cayenne Turbo GT and new G63. This is on another level than either, and I look forward to receiving an early allocation.
I wasn’t blown away by the leaked shots but seeing it from different angles, with wheels that fit the arches….I am liking it and relieved given i have a deposit in. I know this has been said but it’s not an suv, even Ferrari acknowledges that. I view it as a replacement to the FF/lusso and imho its a better package. Wife had an FF for 5 years and I know this will be an even better ride, easier access and more space. I totally get where some/many don’t get it but I am excited to get one and plan to use it a ton. I also tend to more of a Ferrari GT guy than mid engine so that may play into my thinking.
I, for one, am pleasantly surprised. I think Ferrari hit it out of the park with this, far more than the Urus. And given the comments I've seen on social media, it's a huge win in the PR department for Ferrari, as the general reception seems to be overwhelmingly positive. I bet this will be a great drive.
It's a slightly raised and more practical Lusso; it's not an SUV. Ferrari called it a crossover in their press release.
This isn't a Ferrari. It's more a Rolls Royce competitor. Automatic doors?? Really? Stupid gimmick pop up knobs..wtf. Touch unlock crap..like that's not gonna cause problems..this thing is a pile of rolling nonsense.. it's just plain dumb. As usual a fool and thier money are soon parted. I like the v12..but Ferrari had to do somthing to separate it from the pack. It was the only option to set the mark. I'll bet the v12 option is gone after the first year of production. The thing just reeks money grab..
I love all the responses! Myself, I would totally drive this. Great V12 makes all the difference to me. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I went to look at all the just released video reviews and all the photos of this Ferrari SUV thinking I probably won’t like it. I felt this way as I’m not crazy about the look of the 296GTB. Well I was wrong…Ferrari did an outstanding job on design inside and out on their SUV. They should call it a EUV…Exotic Utility Vehicle!!! Forza Ferrari stunning job!
Sadly find it to be a somewhat unattractive hatchback and too gimmicky with various features like the backdoor operation, etc. I was really hopeful for this release, but after 5 minutes of looking at video and pics my wife decided she rather stick with the Lamborghini Urus Performante we have on order for her. Hopefully they have a better design for the eventual 812 SF replacement.
Did y’all see the recent video from Ferrari.com? Just got the email today. Wow! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Ferrari had nothing to do with this truck. Stelantis/Chrysler was the lead here..and Mazda..you are definatly the customer Ferrari loves and caters too.
I have an 812, I want one of these too. Can't help it, I like it. It has a NA v12, detuned but that just makes it OK for the wife to drive. I don't let her drive the 812 and she doesn't really ask either. She manages the Portofino just fine so I think this would be OK for her. Make no mistake, I would not trade the 812 for this. Maybe the Portofino but I am thinking it might mean a third Ferrari. I have been wanting a second SUV to back up the Range Rover and this would fit the bill, albeit fairly costly for that function. I could see using this for the runs to Dallas to see the grandkids up there. I probably need to get a deposit in so I can get one in two years. I wonder how many they will make and what the delivery order will be.
I wonder how battery performance will be with this thing. Most people may not care if it has to be on a tender when not driven but it would become annoying to me in a vehicle that’s supposed to have some utility . Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
If it's a daily driver I wouldn't expect problems. I have only had one battery issue with four Ferraris and it was my 488 spider. Somehow a light got left on in the car and it ran the battery down. The roadside assistance came over and jumped it, I drove it for 30 minutes and it was fine ever after. My cars get driven regularly and I don't keep them on the tender unless we go out of town for a week.
Wow that’s great. I think you are luckier than most. So the answer is drive drive drive them. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Oh no definitely not the typical Ferrari customer. I’m just saying the looks of this SUV shocked me…I do like the looks. I don’t know who designed it…you’re saying Chrysler and Masada?….seriously? Maybe you’re correct, not arguing until I research it…but I honestly don’t care. I can on,y afford one Ferrari and for now my 488 ( my 1st Ferrari) is all I can do at this time.
Oh boy..this is a Chrysler with too much tech and you are not expecting problems? That back door is not opening in the rain. Your gonna have to stand there like an idiot and swipe back and forth 10 times. It's not gonna latch and the dash will scream at you to stop. These things are gonna be like the 7 series in 2005 with idrive...forever on a tow hook too the dealer.
I hope you are wrong. The wife had the Qauttroporte GTS and it did indeed have some Chrysler stuff in it which was cheap looking compared to the rest of the interior. I hope never to own another BMW, had four and they were all in the shop all the time. I was so tired of the service dept at the BMW dealership. The Porsches were very reliable and trouble free.
You can pretty much plan your day around it. I deal with this absolut gimmick nonsense all day long. It useless marketing bullpoo and manufacturer one upmanship. Its the consumer who pays the ultimate price. This truck is dumpster bound once the warranty is up. Save the v12..dump the junk..
