No Scuderia shields, but that looks even better on that config. Congrats! BTW Looks like you're the one who got the hybrid EV6 option already. I'm gonna cancel my V12 and ask my dealer to get the newer version with the discount.
The photo you posted of a tranvestied Purosangue sold at a bargain price can mislead the most distracted ones. The Purosangue and the KIA EV6 are vehicles so different from each other that they don't even allow any kind of comparison. However, I put them side by side in the photos below just in order to realize how mediocre this KIA design is when compared to the one of the Purosangue. As with everything in life, we get what we pay for. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Frankly I don’t get this comparison. KIA design is nice to my eyes but nothing comparable with the Purosangue. Apple and orange.
I fully agree that these two cars cannot be compared with each other as one is a battery powered electric vehicle and the other is a Ferrari equipped with a state of the art V12 combustion engine. As for the KIA's design, I would be lying if I said that I like it, but I respect the opinion of all those who find it appealing.
According to my SA this car is not for anyone but the top tier of Ferrari customers which you can not get to be unless you are already top tier and these days you can't become top tier because the factory is only trickling out cars at a slow pace. So it's sold out for two years at my dealership because the factory preferred customers have already been offered slots. I am getting really tired of the Ferrari game and I think the Portofino M will be our last, if it ever gets built. My SA says a decent spec will cost around $500k but he thinks in two years will be worth $1m. So what? I am not buying a stock that I want to make a capital gain on, I am buying a car to drive but apparently that isn't the sales pitch the dealership wants to make. In fact, telling me that I can't get one isn't much of a pitch at all, it's a get lost and I am tired of it. So unless you are Luke or someone at his level you will not sniff the tailpipe of this car. Looks like I will just buy a second Autobiography.
They are taking orders from top tiers right now, it'll change once those orders are fulfilled. That's the logical move. The Ferrari suv will never be worth a million unless its a special version like a tdf.
This comparison proves again that aerodynamics and safety regulations make the SUVs look similar and, let's be honest, a bit blunt. The Levante looks similar to an Infiniti QX35, the Grecale similar to the Ford Puma and Stelvio with a hint of Maserati 3200GT, etc. etc.
Much easier and quicker to configure and order another RR SVO for about $210k and I get it this year.
I'm sure every snow white, capped tooth realtor and promoter will have one. Bal Harbour and the Design District will be littered with them soon. It will be interesting to see where the majority end up. Urus are as common as iguanas here.
My SA said you won't see many of these at all on the street. I really don't get the exclusivity on this model but oh well.
Well to be fair SA's tend to say whatever supports their best interest. I was at a local car event and there were four Sennas there. I think there were five Pagains at the Toy Rally last year. Bet the owners each thought they'd be the only one. Nothing works better than telling people they can't buy something. My wife works in a very high end jewelry store. The minute they started telling clients they were out of inventory demand tripled. Guess we'll know in a year or two.
Autocar suggested nearer £ 400 000 - big difference - vat ? Sent from my I3312 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The thing is, if it's too exclusive it's not going to make them that much money. I would have thought for something like this which seems to appeal to a wider audience, they would have a larger production but apparently that's not going to be the case. Most people do not want to wait two years for a car and honestly, I am sick of the Ferrari waiting game, it's tiresome. Life is short and for most people they don't have the money for a Ferrari when they are younger with plenty of time to wait around on their chance to own one. So when you get to the point you have the money you have a lot less time so since that's me, toodleoo Ferrari. I am sick to death of waiting on this stupid Portofino M. It's the lowest model in the lineup and they are still taking forever to produce one and the line is closing. I think I have been lucky with Ferrari in that I have been able to buy what I want off the floor and the one I ordered got to me in 90 days but my patience isn't that high for cars. I have money and can buy other cars instead so my checkbook will go where I don't have to be on my deathbed before getting the car. The funny thing is that my wife doesn't want one, I did but not now.
I am used to Ferrari playing a trickle up game Coupe, followed by spider followed by special editions It does feel like they will use the V12 to overcome the anti-Ferrari SUV sentiment and follow with hybrid and e versions
The Purosangue isn't an SUV and hasn't an off-road setting in the Manettino. However, as shown in the photo, the Purosangue can be driven fast on a dirt road. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I wonder how well those carbon wheel guards will stand up to such abuse. And, that is a nice smooth gravel surface...wonder what a less beautiful surface will damage first, but, probably we will never know if these majority of these are destined to be garage queens or occasional weekend tourers... I must say I have an issue with Ferrari introducing a new model with yellow calipers, what's more, yellow calipers in a red car. Never did so before, this is a point of no return. More than ever I'm feeling here like the odd one out, but I must let it be. If you think alike just let me know that you silently weep with me...
All Joking aside, that picture with the front side view is my favorite angle of the Purosangue. That image almost looks like they had 23inch wheels all around. That may be the set because for me I feel it brings the front and rear designs closer together.
