I heard there are limited 12 cylinders available with the PS. They will move on quickly to other engines. And also the last 812s and all GTS have the GPF. There are more than a few on here who could not tolerate the sound difference. Me included.

It was said in the PS thread, by someone closely connected, that The PS will only come as a V12 till they Launch the Full EV version in 2025/6 Time will tell I guess.
My friend said their dealer told them yesterday that the first 2 years of the PS are already fully sold out.

I agree, V12 and then BEV, but I disagree on timing, I believe Ferrari will have an exceptionally difficult BEV gestation and despite a reveal being 'as scheduled' in 2025, it will likely be just a prop, and the actual production starting in 2028.

As for 2 years sold out, Ferrari does not like to book more than 2 years of orders, so they could of probably had more but word is they closed the book for now, it will re-open, probably late next year presuming production/deliveries begin in June 2023.

    Yup time will tell all.

Yeah It reminded me of one of those oversized hot wheels toy cars my Son had when he was younger. Also feels like an on road beach buggy. It's pretty cool, But also glad they will never make anything like it tho....

That’s strong with today’s exchange rates prices in the UK are somewhere around $310k that’s all taxes included ( net) quite a massive discount to the US

Let's think what can they (Ferrari) throw in 812 successor, what we have to differentiate it from the old model ...

A V12 now with 840 CV (like Daytona SP3). Versione speciale should get even more CV to be in line with Ferrari's motto "the latest is the greatest".

    Independent RWS, from 812Comp.
Some other (as usual) Ferrari updated tricks on SSC, F1 Trac, you name it.

    Electrical suspension system?(Furosangue)

New bodywork with SF90 front styling clues and 296 rear clues, a'la Furosangue again? (Personally I'd prefer original front and 812Comp rear, with changed side line too)

Dual zone cockpit? With that entertaining passenger display (a'la Furosangue)

SO, ... This and count the Spyder version and VS. Ready to vote with your wallets? ;)

What else do you wish? Or what you don't want on 812 successor ? If it happens.

Yes that is what I was told and that my SA thinks a $500k spec with a $390k base will be worth $1m in two years. So they are selling a collectible to put in your garage and look at. The SA said, you will not see many of these at all on the street. So why would Ferrari make a car like this to collect? It doesn't make sense if it's a UTILITY vehicle? The U in SUV or FUV is still utility and not collectible. Ferrari can't stop being in love with themselves constantly sending out polls and surveys to see how you like their cars and so on but when it comes to buying one, well we don't want to sell you what you want, just keep filling out our surveys.

    LOL!

Ferrari continues on the road of production of cars slightly more powerful than its predecessor and slightly faster than its competitors. Holds true here: de-tuned V12- yes for better low down torque- but to allow room for a special version down the line and ever so slightly faster than the competition. I would like Ferrari to one day offer its customers a gift- a regular production car which rewrites the rules in terms of performance and design-
Similar to what McLaren did with the 720s- even now a performance bargain. Ferrari is more interested in stringing its clientele along with marginal improvements and charging a lot more for them because they still can. I believe that it is changing and the PS is the beginning of Ferraris slippery slope to market equity

i had the exact same.feeling when Ferrari released the Pista, marginal upgrades not a major overhaul. technology carried over from previous cars with power boost. The PS lunch was mostly focused on passion than innovation.

Except the 488 Pista was a non-numbered 488 VS edition....so not a linear comparison as "by design" a VS is not a major overhaul but does move the bar forward...

Technologically the PS is not relevant (example: the awd system is carried over and the 6.5L significantly de-tuned) other than maybe the 48v suspension system (yet to be determined)...the PS is meant to be a "luxury model"

I think you're going to have a hard time imagining it, but I can assure you that anyone here who can afford it will want one !
I am happy that the V12 ends with the big door !

I did a quick image analysis of the new design elements. Up front, the Purosangue has similarities with the SF90 Stradale (also the price:D) and its taillights are similar to those of the 296 GTB. The front of the PS also reminds me a bit of the 365 GTB/4 Daytona and I hope that the F167 at the front goes in the direction of this design.

I feel strange to say but the Purosangue is looking even better than the recent Ferrari sports car(SF90/roma/296). Let's see what surprise the F167 will bring us.

Last car that really did this was F12. Don’t think we’re getting another jump like that anytime soon.

It’s going to be a v12 with a 48V mild hybrid to keep up with the horsepower race. No chance it would be a plug in hybrid, It would push 5000lbs.
The big questions will be the design and if it will be designed to be a convertible as well.
