LOL. It's a breed known for yielding up to 2# fruit. Two stories. 1. This tomato was developed in the 1930s by M.C. Byles, a West Virginia radiator mechanic who went by the nickname “Radiator Charlie.” Like millions of others, Byles was negatively affected by the Great Depression. He came up with a plan to create a larger, better-tasting tomato he could later sell. In the 1940s he began selling his tomato plants and the profits allowed him pay off his house — hence, the name Mortgage Lifter. 2. Post-depression era breeders developed a variety for the nursery plant market, and named after their presumably high saleability, which allowed small-scale plant nurseries and farmers to recover from debt. These two currently in the yard are probably 4 to 5 inches diameter. Nice size, but in all honesty, I get larger Cherokee Purple and Mr. Stripeys. No monster sizes this year due to our very cool late spring. Cherokee and Stripey from past seasons below. Sear all over for a few minutes over a hot fire. Then about 5 mins or so indirect. Served with green beans. I blanched them in salt water & froze them last week before we headed out of town. So, I wanted to cook them high heat to dry them out and crisp them up. Garlic, Himalayan pink salt. Image Unavailable, Please Login T

I've been boring the last few nights. Arby's Gyro and curly fries. Popeye's chicken sandwich. A&W teen burger and fries. Tonight, I may go to my favorite hole in the wall diner for the prime rib special. If no prime rib, Philly cheesesteak.
rarest steak in the history of tom-casa! Looks great. Where did you get that strip? What type of beef?
