'59 Bubble top is my favourite Impala. On my list as soon as I have more storage.

Talking about Impala's, the 1962 327 SS I used to own ( sold in in 2004) is on the market. It was a one owner car I purchased in Delaware, nice to see it's been kept in its original condition.

A friend convinced me to buy it. Car was in great original condition, but with 4 wheel drum brakes, 2 speed powerglide it was a cruiser, not a drivers car.

two speed with a 327 pity non 4 speed auto....

 

Even back then, the 327/ 4 speeds were much more $$$. A an SS 409 / 4 speed would be the gun car to own.

 

409 now they are special ,when one looks into the build numbers of the # Special yank models of the 60s , production numbers were LOW in the RHD Ferrari type numbers .....

Like the 66/67 Fairlane 427R Code cars ..

Passed a very nice BRG MG K3 on a trailer towed by an old guy in a Range Rover in the Airport Link tunnel yesterday. Had a plate "K3 MG" on the back.

 

Gazz or Whom should be able to enlighten..
