308 Featured on this week's PBS Motorweek Episode

There is a short feature on a 308 in the latest Motorweek series episode.

Season 42, Episode 4, the one with their main car review being a Kia Sportage Hybrid.

It's a 1984 Euro GTB QV. Aftermarket wheels (not to my taste, but hey, that's just me) and no rear lid spoiler. No info presented which we all don't well know already, aside for some undeserved shade that they cast in the direction of the earlier GT4.

Since Euro GTB QV's are hardly the most common 308 variation that one encounters, it makes me wonder if the car belongs to anyone here?

I remember awhile back a member here saying that their 308 was going to be on motorweek..

Yes, that is my car. I haven't seen the segment yet but hope it will be posted on their website soon.

 

I watched it yesterday, nice review and nice car! Everything said was exactly how I feel, one quote of note, "it's more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow" which is exactly why I LOVE the old 308s!

When I was younger and heard that statement, my reaction was always, "But I'd rather drive a fast car fast!!"

Now that I'm (much) older, my reaction is...still the same.
