Ace!!, great video, I’ve never seen Harry more thrilled on a drive [emoji4] Wonderful cars [emoji120]
Girlfriend in 1990 talked me out of buying one from a dealer in Haberfield .... never forgiven her, or maybe I should
She probably saved you a world of pain - you should thank the Lord she came into your life - and let's face it Moretti, you a blinkered Ferrari man. Having said the above, your rants are more raging bull than prancing horse, but in your heart, the horse is strong in you
100% agree - although he was similarly enthusiastic about his green XJC -12. He also thought really highly of his Lotus Esprit Turbo HC - at one stage, it was one of his top 3 - but he sold it a few years later. No explanation but I assume it was to make space for the 89 Porsche 930 Turbo S.
She rates in the top 2 but I would have loved to have owned a Lambo, Urraco/Countach/Miura/Jarrama .... the modern ones don't do it for me Been a Ferrari fan since I could read ......... so for 10 years School was a drama, repeating kindergarten 5 times was hell
Saw some of Barry Lock's best work this morning on the Bruce Highway at the Gateway exit: dark blue Giocattalo! Very, very nice and you forget how small they were!
I saw one once that started out at about 12.5 foot long and after a number of seconds ended up being 5 foot 12!
Yep when looking for 'the car' one of these was the pick except I couldn't find one for sale. SCW did a 4 seater test and the Espada came out on top.
I know the road test you're talking about by journo Mel Nichols. I'd prefer still your your current steed - the 365 GT4 2+2 all day, every day. Its much more elegant, has better breeding! I even remember reading in period magazines raving about the Espada's Marzel inspired looks. I reckon it got dated/ugly by the end of the seventies and perhaps only the last decade or so have been kind to it. I certainly look at it with different eyes nowadays.
I know you're right about an article in SCW but I can't find it Any idea whar year ? I've got them all from 1972 until they finished
It was a reprint of the article Nicols did for CAR (May '74). I looked at it day before yesterday while I was cleaning up the big shed. So SCW will be after that.

Yep,I ,and probably others here, saw it in real time. First thing you questioned was the finish line position.....dumb as dogpoo.
