I can't recall if I've ever actually seen a 288 Window Sticker. How impossible would it be to get a copy of one?

The Monroney sticker is a US federal law dating back the the late 50's. No other country I am aware of has similar as a matter of law. In a Rome dealer I once saw a window sticker similar but I was left with the impression it was their own creation.

We accepted many brand new, non US cars from Ferrari including 288s and I never saw anything.

The stickers for US cars were applied at FNA. Once the dealer it was going to etc was decided it was printed and glued on.

Not in the USA, 288 GTOs were built by Ferrari SpA to European specification and were sold ex-factory meaning it was you or your agent's responsibility to collect it at Maranello and get the car back to the USA and deal with compliance. Window stickers as we know them started with the USA F40.

Window stickers started for all US sold new cars in 1958. Not the F40.

I assumed Armen knew 288 was not a US car.

Thank you Joe. Too bad. So, I shouldn't even try to look into mine, right? And yes Brian, I knew they are not US cars.

Yes indeed, I should have said they started with the F40 in the Supercar Series from 288 GTO to La Ferrari.

Every GTO was sold off a factory invoice, here's that for 57493, it would be very cool if you could find yours, check the buyer's address on this one, Orange County!

The factory also issued a Certificate of Origin which came with the car as well, here's that for 57493, cool stuff to have if possible.

See post #4 - the cars sold ex-factory and this was the Italian registration plate for export - to quote Wikipedia:

These plates are used for vehicles temporarily circulating in Italy, but have to be exported, "EE" stands for "Escursionisti Esteri"
