Congratulations mate. Good move getting it sorted to the level you wanted prior to listing it. Along with your peace of mind, I’m sure it helped with the sale.
Cheers, mate. She has gone. Here’s the new owner heading off today. I’m not going to lie - I shed a little bit of a tear afterwards. But it’s off to a great home and the timing is right. On to the next adventure for me, I guess! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I reckon I would have shed a tear too… Is it staying local? New adventures for sure!! If you get to do the road trips you have talked about in the Emira, there will be plenty of smiles per mile
Yes it’s staying local, which is great. The owner has several nice cars - Porsches, Ferraris, etc. Good guy, and I know he’ll look after it. I tried to find out when the Emira will arrive today, but no further information at this stage. March / April is my guess.
That’s good to know… you might even see it again one day! New car delivery timeframes are ridiculous atm, if you get something within 12 months, I’d say that’s a win!
Thanks, mate. I reckon I could have got an extra $50k if I didn’t listen to the clowns on here and discount it for being an “import”! Nah, all good. The first one is the hardest to let go, presumably. I worked bloody hard for that car and never thought I’d sell it, so it’s a bit of an emotional hit to let it go even though the result is great. Onwards and upwards! Hopefully 458s return to sensible pricing in a few years and I might be able to return to the fold in one of those.
