    Excellent remark!!!

It was the star car on the Pininfarina stand, accompanied by Corvair and Fiat 2300 concept cars! Three more cars in the back, but no way they would hide the brand new Lusso prototype like that!

Funny you bring this up. I didn’t realize the controversy this was. So a few months ago, I decided I wanted to get “serious” about learning the history on Ferraris and be a hobbiest historian. I posted a picture on my new account of what you had said was 3849 on the Ferrari stand. Some Ferrari historian was like no, 3849 was never pale yellow, that car was 4053GT, and Marcel had confirmed those records.

The silver car you posted. How many taillights does it have?

As I said, we were all wrong since many years. Now, we can say that 4053 was the silver prototype (Paris and London Show) and 3849 the yellow one (Turin Show).
Regarding the car restored for Schaltkulisse (3849), it has single taillights but as it was wrongly restored as 4335, that means nothing. Hope it will be properly restored once Schaltkulisse will admit 3849 was the Turin Show car...

That makes sense. well, hopefully it goes back to the Giallo Solare. From the pictures that color looks good.

I hope to see 4335GT again. A very beautiful car. But I doubt it. That car sits in an incredibly private collection a mile from where I am currently sitting. from what I hear, it is an impressive collection. Every now and then they take the cars out down the street, from what I’m told to stretch their legs. I got lucky one beautiful Sunday morning. I had thought it was a 330 GTC at first, then as I was passing it (going the opposite direction) I saw the Lusso rear end.

    good luck!

    12269 and 3459 GT.
Bottini had both for sale in the second half of 1983.
Bottini had acquired 3459 GT 21 January 1983 (he was the 3rd owner at the time) and sold 3459 GT on the 25 June 1985 to O.C.B., a major collector in Torino.
Bottini had 12269 on consignment only and never owned it, he sold it 24 July 1984 to the 9th owner, E. M., a German resident in Zurich, Switzerland.

    Hi Folks,

Does anyone have any photos/records to share on the Ferrari production cars that were on display at 1977 Geneva Motor Show (47e Salon International de l'Auto 1977)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best,
