Sebring International Raceway on Sunday. About a dozen state troopers (FHP) showed up for rides around the track, and drivers in the advanced run groups were obliging (yes they signed waivers like the rest of us fools).

You had to see it, they were lined up like school children! A pretty classy move by Chin Racing!

Boy that is a bumpy track! 32 track days in the 458 in 2022!

Yes, Novitec and HRE 20/21 by an awesome previous owner. Want to raise it a little though.

Looks great! I also came from an F12 and other than the sound I love my Pista more.
What size are your wheels? Love those silver wheels on your F8.

I am sure your pista is amazing!
I agree the sound is a little muffled compared to the f12. But i pretty much love everything else more about this car!
Its 21/22 novitec NF10 with the novitec lowering spring.
I dont plan on doing anything else on it. I already did full ppf and ceramic coating

Giro Disc steel rotors…. The performance is unbelievable and blows the CCM OEM rotors out of the water. Highly recommended.

    My brake setup is:

    Giro Disc steel rotors
    Pagid RSL29 endurance racing pads
    Stainless steel brake lines
    Castrol SRF brake fluid

With this setup, the 458 brakes like a race car and what a Ferrari should be. The brake feel and modulation is unreal.

Same setup on mine, except using Giro pads for the time being. The Giro’s have about 20% less surface area on the fronts than the ceramics, and I notice slightly reduced braking under high stress.

Modulation is better, and trail braking more analog.

Best of luck on your rebuild, hope you won’t be left with spare parts…….
