One of the things I like most about 355s is they are good looking. To my eye they're the last of the small pretty Ferraris. The only blemish is US side marker lights. Ugly rectangular slabs on an otherwise gorgeous body. On my car the time has come to repaint the roadrashed sills and front bumper. I'm thinking, why not fiberglass out the US side markers and install small round European side lights while I'm at it. Has anyone been down this road? Thoughts? Comments? What am I in for?

I replaced the bumpers on my car which deleted the market lights.

I did not/would not drill the car for euro lights but that's entirely up to you.

Filling the holes in the existing bumpers would be easy.

The Euro round sidelights are flashers, so you'd have to rewire the lights.

Personally I wouldn't but I'm an originality whore. You can get clear ones if you want or if you really want them gone just buy some ROW bumpers and call it a day.

Trying to find an original F355 factory workshop and/or parts manual set. Please help!

My U.S. spec GTS has a Euro bumper and clear corner lights. Euro spec was what Leonard Firoavanti and the design team designed, not the DOT add ons. I wouldn't drill a hole in a fender to install a round Euro turn signal on a U.S. car. either.

Mine does not have side indicators, not sure if they were filled in or never there as the bumper has had some work from bottoming over the years. It's a '94 build '95 so who knows on those early cars...
