I need to source a set of 206 Bumpers for my 206 I'm restoring #00184. It seems all that is out there are stainless steel reproductions. Brandoli will make a steel set without chroming but are very expensive, about $12,000 versus Stainless steel which seem to be in $2500 range. The originals were chrome and I prefer chrome but at $12,000 plus chroming probably not in my budget. Suggestions would be welcomed.

Here in the Netherlands is a firm called Carrozzeria Labro en they restored #00230 some years ago.
I have seen this car a few times and it's really stunning.
Amongst a lot of other work they made new bumpers and a front grille for this car.
Maybe they can hulp you with the bumpers.
If you search for 'Carrozzeria Labro' on Youtube you will find a nice video about this restoration.

We made our own from an old set of 246's. snip, snip, reshape.
    Copied from a original set.
Also have the fibreglass moulds to proof to.

Still have to chrome mine. Recommendations ?

    Regards, Alberto

Just a heads up that stainless steel can be chrome plated. Why not just use stainless bumpers (which are better in every respect) and have them chromed for the correct colour and look? Really only a magnet could tell the difference.

The big picture looks like newer ones but the small picture looks correct. These come from Vietnam

When I knew a lot less, I bought a set of 246 from Harrington Group. Very nice people to deal with,
and best of all, extremely reliable.
Spectacular work. Yes they are SS, but if they can be chromed, then there is the solution.

    Regards, Alberto

I heard back from Harrington. They do not make 206 bumpers.
