Not so much these days but do see the odd thing on occasion. This one is a favourite in my collection. 55 yo morbidly obese female complaining of right iliac fossa pain, clinical diagnosis of appendicitis. CT scan however showed something else, image on the right is for reference . She had no idea that she’d swallowed the bread clip

I get quite a few morbidly obese patients in the clinic for work up prior to weight reduction surgery. They all share the same quality, happy to shove anything down their gob as quickly as possible, obviously that includes the whole loaf and packaging
