The more photos that are released it does look like that black box could be a camera rather than new GPS position.. the car I saw in January didn’t have that, but it seems that car was for the XX programme that was later canned.
The SF90 sharkfin is on the roof...this mule's is positioned to include a rear-view camera, it is at the correct location for that vantage point...
Now that 296 proves to be more fun with more steering feel and more thrill to put the power down to ground, sf90’s approach is still valid in terms of performance but what is there for the driver??? So why not make VS a more edgy, more thrilling, and massive top end torque, which demands skill and respect from the driver, with v8 and bigggggger turbo and one electric mortor and clutch unit? It screams more ‘Ferrari’ for me. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

Highly doubt that they will make fundamental changes like bigger turbos, different gearbox and motors etc. I am expecting 80-120kg less in weight, slightly more boost and 8-10% more power with more feel in the steering and better/louder sound.
I expect changes to the plastic parts, no radical changes to the engine/powertrain or to the metal. Change the bumpers and most likely there will be an S duct on the front hood. I believe that these interventions will fill the slightly weaker points of the SF90 stylistically speaking. I expect a longer tail, which gives a more dynamic effect, perhaps inspired by the Can Am spoiler. A very aggressive language given the gills that appeared above the engine hood. I hope they have passive aerodynamics, and that they have removed that ugly hole in the rear where there is that spoiler that goes down.
That would be disappointing and a very weak effort on Ferrari's part. A VS should have a bit more power and more fanciful solutions than just passive aero.
Something will inevitably change, as has already happened on the CS, the Scuderia, the Pista, but there will certainly be no upheavals. Regarding passive aerodynamics, I meant a treatment done like on the Daytona, of rare beauty. Without wings and tongues that move, or movable balconies. And if you look at the photos of alec6_ph and passionecavallino.be you can see that the upper part of the tail is convex, very tapered in the lower part, where there are two openings, which look like two air channels.. I expect an extractor exaggerated, since the exhausts line is high.
The Daytona (I guess you mean SP3) is just a stylistic mess, from the past. Looking forward to new solutions, from the world of aerospace.
Of course yes, the SP3. I completely disagree with what you just said. You know the two fireplaces that bring air to the hood from the underbody? I wouldn't say this solution is old. It's a car full of sophisticated invisible aerodynamic solutions, which leave an extremely sculptural and clean body. A true work of art, of rare beauty. Mess from the past? Please. Anyway, if you see it that way... okay. I'm certainly not going to argue about that I really believe that the tail of the VS can somehow feel the influence of the upward trend of the tail from the SP3, with a beak spoiler, much less vertical than that of the original SF90 also in the Assetto Fiorano version in favor of an outstretched wing. Backwards. Dynamic and slender Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have always had an impression that a SF90 Stradale has some appeal issues that (hopefully) could be addressed in VS. Thinking about a refinement like 'average' looking 488GTB into 488 Pista. PS I am a little scared that they're gonna use taillights from 296/(same as in Puro)
[ Afterwards, maybe you should really ask yourself the right questions and that you are a real reflection on Ferrari, rather than asking for more power on a SF 90 of 1000 hp. When you regularly drive Ferraris, it's not the issue of extra power that comes to mind...
Ahahah "little scared". I've seen the SF90 very very close a few days ago in Forte dei Marmi. Look, it's not the headlights that are ugly. It is precisely the overall view of the SF90 that has something wrong with it. Those headlights that have not convinced any are very beautiful, that the problem is in the tail itself. No one has ever mentioned the two half-height round exhausts, but combined with that vertical trapezoid cut cut by the license plate holder , gives a connotation very similar to the face of an owl. We can blindly trust the Style Center. They'll do a nice job with VS! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’ve studied my car pretty closely and never really focused on this particular area. Now that you’ve highlighted this, I’m seeing something different than an owl…more like Larry flopping around in the locker room at the gym. Thanks for that :/
Ahahahahaha oh jesus! But don't get me wrong, if you follow me and read me up here on fchat you will have noticed how much I'm a supporter and lover of all Ferraris including the SF90. But analyzing it well, especially after years, every now and then some small flaw comes out. It remains a beautiful Ferrari. And I wish everyone to have the good fortune to be able to observe and above all touch these cars in real life. They are real sculptures. Feel the bodywork slide under your hands appreciating the full and empty spaces.
Ferraris have always been about the engine and the power. Are they too powerful? Yes! But then again they have always been too powerful in their time. As Simone says, if the power is controllable, there is no such thing as an overpowered car. Embrace the evolution, don't resist it.
That rear "idea" is reminiscent of the F12, which I feel is the weakest design element of that car. Ferrari doesn't typically fail on designs of the VS models....
Why do you think electrification is bad? I know the common reasons why most whine about it but please apply logic at tell me why, I am genuinely curious to know.
