I've been wondering when one would show up on there and considering how long they've been out, its odd there hasn't been one yet. Is there a particular reason? Anything in the paperwork? I imagine not because there's been plenty of pistas and SF90's just curious. I've been in the market for one and was hoping to acquire via an auction format but haven't seen one.

What’s the market on them? Haven’t followed closely but just saw Ferrari of the woodlands share one for $369k. Thought they were pulling closer to $500k

Typical Tributo range $400-$475. Typical Spider range $450-$550. Some a bit higher; some a bit lower. Palm Beach has 7 in their inventory; I expect prices will slump as the recession deepens.

Whatever price predictions we come up with just go with the opposite and that would generally be correct:)

As for the reason for limited BaT listings my guess Is that up until now the market has been warm enough that traditional sales move quickly enough.

BAT has a significant backlog of cars to get up onto their site. They may have some F8s in the waiting line.

My guess is that most cars are traded back to the Ferrari dealer.

All UK/EUR prices have slumped in USD.

In all seriousness, used cars seem to be softening, but new/luxury cars are chugging along. TSLA/PAG/AN/F/GM/RACE are all reporting excellent numbers. Poor KMX and CVNA aren't doing as well.

My guess is that BAT set a reaver that buyers were unwilling to accept so they sold it elsewhere without the worry or being forced to sell for a price they weren’t willing to take?

Not necessarily. Depends on customer, dealer and time frame. A lot of F8 are well past any 6 or 12 month right of first refusal contract, if they were had to sign one.

Not just that, but staying in good relations with dealer and getting the next car.

Cannot tell if you are praising the 458 or making fun of me for having a 10 year old car. Either way, the humor works for me.

Ha- I have a 2014 458 Spider  - The humorous poke is that many think the 458s sound better and are more engaging to drive than F8s so was actually poking fun at F8 owners

All jokes aside I do know of several 488 owners who had the dilemma of trading "up" to an F8 or "down" to a 458 and chose the latter.

Despite my love of my 355 and 458 NA cars and feeling that each is beautiful, I passionately feel that the 488 and F8 (especially the F8) are simply breathtaking to look at and what they may have lost in aural excitement is made up for in beauty, technology, and performance.

    Cheers

I have to agree with your comment. I moved up to an F8 Spider from a 488 Spider and found that the F8 is a significant upgrade from the 488. It is overall more refined in both looks and performance.

You can contrast the looks, but the 458 is gorgeous. And the sound is nothing to sneeze at.

Let's face it- they are ALL heartstoppingly beautiful and refinement and performance are off the charts- but IMHO they absolutely nailed it from a looks standpoint with the F8 Tributo.

When I first saw pics of one I figured it was a special edition model and with the Lexan rear "glass" and the name I figured it was a "Tribute" to the F40- When I found out it was the production successor to the 488 I was blown away- But not enough to part with either/both of my other Ferraris and not in a position to add one. But I did drive both the Tributo and Spider at the unveilings and was impressed.

Enjoy yours in good health- Cheers

I’m not a BAT follower, but it seems like not the best place to sell a newer Ferrari. Especially when they were selling easily for over MSRP at the dealer.

The last newer super car listings I’ve seen on BAT didn’t meet reserve.

Very nice spec and the car should bring all the money (My WAG $440,000). I'd like it more if it had the lifter (and AFS), JBL, and passenger display (all of which are critical IMO)
