Let's fiddle around with a "Ferrari all stars"-Team: Kimi, Fernando & Seb Alessandro Pier-Guidi comes to mind, but I would also think about Antonio Giovinazzi. What about Nico Hülkenberg? Pascal Wehrlein is mentioned when it comes to the Porsche Hypercar project, but he also tested the Ferrari F! and was their simulator pilot. I think Ferrari will run through their own GT pilots, but with the 296 GT3 there will also be future GT-class competiton by Ferrari - so they cannot change all the experienced pilots to the hypercars, right?
The yellow stripe is overdone for me, but at least they didn't use matte red. It would be cool a white stripe for the other car.
With the yellow it gives me 333SP Mono Ferrari vibes too. I really like the colour combo personally Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think they were inspired by their last prototype to run at LeMans 50 years ago, hence the number 50: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Anyone know if or when they will do endurance testing at Sebring? I’m such a big fan I’d drive over to catch a glimpse from outside the track. Definitely excited for IMSA and WEC-LeMans racing to start in 2023

Some of the other new cars would be eligible, I believe, to run in IMSA events, but as a Hypercar, I don't believe the Ferrari would be. Can anyone confirm this?

IMSA is a US championship, mostly for private teams; that's where most of the LMDhs will run. LMH factory teams are more interested in WEC, for a world title: Toyota, Peugeot, Ferrari.
I haven't attended LM since I covered it for Cavallino 1993-1996 but yes I will definitely be there! It will be very emotional to see the dream of factory Ferrari Prototypes returning realized. I will feel like during my first LM in 1980 when I was 16!
