Max started on slightly used softs, then took mediums to the end.... THAT wasn't one of the tire strategies they showed at the beginning but turned out to be the winner.

Glad I hit pause at lap 15 and left to make pizza. No need to go back and watch the rest. Snooooooze

I said from the start to my dad that Max and Red Bull would go to the end on the mediums. Temps were too low for high degradation, and the hard tire was a no-go from the beginning, and I was shocked Mercedes didn't go to lap 40ish and then go for the softs. That was their only chance.

Ferrari? A flaming dog turd. Clearly, the F175 was designed around the TD39 loophole that was closed. How stupid. Second time that Binotto was dependent on a grey area of the rule book, and is caught with his pants down.

He should have it parked it in the most difficult position, come on! Too easy for the marshalls.
A real Safety Car would have made a brilliant ending.

But it's the percentage that really counts. Max is at 70% while Schumacher is at 72%.

Another lovely day for powered by Honda except for Tsunuda getting run into, P1, 3 and 11
Charles took a real hit in his race for second, losing 7 points relative to Checo and now being 5 points behind him. Still a battle for sure.
Ferrari lost 13 points in the standings today but I think they still are comfortable toward finishing second.

The VSC for Alonso was absolutely absurd. It seems like nowadays the slightest thing demands a safety car or VSC let alone the Red Flag that is being used with almost comical abandon.

They could have ended the race after the first turn of the first lap and saved us all a bunch of time.

To protect themselves, they should close their accounts, instead of reading all the negative feedback they receive.
I will never understand why people get on these toxic social media in the first place.
    They feed the trolls.

I honestly thought more teams would have had brake issues or other overheating problems, but all teams pretty much handled that effectively.
That could have easily brought a SC, thus the dullness of the race because of the lack of it.

Agree'd the start showed who was fastest immediatley and pulled safe from DRS gap and never had a real issue. As I posted earlier this was a Max race all the way from lights out. Surprised it was so overall dull. The rest of the races will be Max. A dominating win/title for this year. Will be same for next no matter how idiotic Horner is about his over spend. No one has the formula so well defined as RedBull. The amount of time and money to improve marginally does not exist under the budget cap. Ferrari and Mercedes are .5 or more behind now overall. RedBull has gotten stronger not weaker lol. All Max all the time.

Internally Max faces little competition from Checo. I see another building year for both Ferrari and Mercedes. Possibly in 24 it might be closer. I dont see how for next year.

Dullest race of the year - check.

Dullest season of all time - check.

Worst ferrari team management and strategists of all time - check.

Hamilton is the main actor of this.
He feed it for years and now he realize how people are mediocre ?
    What a joke!

LOL - but he is not wrong lol. Even with better tires there was a lack of pace inherent in the Mercedes to begin with. Even with better tires, close yes but this was a Max win from the off.

    Not according to George russell.

A Max win was likely but had Mercedes used the same strategy as Red Bull it would've been far from easy.

Sure but in the end Max was 2 tenths quicker nevertheless.

RedBull tire wear was good overall with softer and harder compounds. That factor and sheer pace there is no Mercedes win. I love the youth optimism of Russell lol :)

I do believe Max was managing his pace. He did 1.22's the whole race on mediums...with like 20 laps to go or so GP told him to start pushing if he wanted to. The man is a ****ing robot.

Yeah, especially if they called it just after VER passed the pit entrance. I think 'The Show' directors missed a trick.
