Woah, bigotry and vanity? It's great to discuss depreciation; very few people are blessed to be not concerned about that (myself included) - so I appreciate any discussion about devaluation.

The glaring inconsistency is that the deprecation rebuttal comes off as the raison d'etre one dislikes this car. So why just this? Every regular run car depreciates.

That's what's causing eyebrows to rise, not the dislike of the car's aesthetics, performance questions, or even price.

YES! Exotics dime a dozen in central London. Me thinks he doesn't get out much, explains a lot actually.

I mean boil it down, another reason @day355 doesn't like this car is that nobody will drive it, yet I thought the original critique is it's too distilled? Which is it? It should have been hardcore/impractical/pure, say like a Monza SP1, like those get driven to anywhere other then a C&C or special event? Yet angry at a car that's daily usable, why? Because they will only get driven to C&C or special event?

Notice only one static element in my analogies.

    :)

The Urus performante is faster then the Huracan 610 on track, as reported by Car and Driver. I'm not saying most owners are going to be rushing for their fire proof underwear, let's not be silly.

I just merely point out if the PS is on par with the Urus P, then unless one is tracking something faster than the 610, I roll my eyes on chest pumping bonafide signaling.

Always be careful busting out the measuring stick, one is a liable to be measured themselves.

In London Orange paint is being sprayed on buildings, art and other luxury items, multiple times every day. Climate change and socialist envy related - zero meaningful sanctions for the protagonists. In addition, you would be a brave person to wear a good watch with a short sleeve shirt. It’s carnage and not going to get better. Literally zero law enforcement as the police are all busy on hate crimes eg trans debate/diversity training. Unreal.

And if someone does not like this car and he expresses his opinion here, where exactly is the problem? Feels like of these well over 5600 comments in this thread are about half of you in which you try to fight against the "hate" (as you call it) against this car. If I'm being honest, I think you're being a huge moralist about something that's really none of your business. We are here in a completely normal and open Internet forum, there should actually be allowed negative comments without Mr. "Hyper-Moral" corrective intervenes and this tries to stop. If someone finds the PS **** then it is his right to write that. Sure, you may respond to it at any time. But honestly, your fight to stop negative comments about the PS seems completely ridiculous to me. Somehow ass-kissing towards the "good guys" in your by you created perfect Ferrari universe. But hey, that's just my own personal opinion.

Brighter blue looks nice, plus the silver wheels suit the car. It’s also a non-carbon extras car which is interesting.

Remember, he used ”in Europe they won’t daily drive it” as a reason for why the car is crap, or whatever specific word was used.

Not only is the conclusion flawed, the premise is overbroad and false.

You feel shut down because the arguments you throw yourself in with are weak in the first place, that doesn’t mean anyone is trying to shut you down from speaking. I don’t see how pointing out the nonsense premises and equally nonsense and surface conclusions simply for what they are equates to “trying to stop”. You aren’t even talking about the actual car, are you just here to throw yourself in with @day355 to be mad at the car, “Oh but Purosangue, it will depreciate!” Is that it? The you say it’s “none of your business”, and you post it on a public forum?

Bring your reasoning up to the level of the discussion my friend. It’s ungentlemanly to make things up and put words into other people’s mouths, your homework is to go read it again since you missed it the first time:

    https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/148806259/

To the content of what you are saying now, of course it’s your “right” to profligate weak reasoning, no one ever said different, and it’s anyone else’s “right” to point out what is so obviously so. Am I speaking your language now? Does it bother you so much that holes are easily poked in that, that you revert to: But my rights! My personal freedoms! and refer to “moralist”? Really? Nothing more to say about a car than this? Some of the comments here are just…funny.

And no, I don’t worry about depreciation. You think that means I “don’t want depreciation to be discussed”? Huh? How did you come to this conclusion? I think the fact that this makes you feel this reactive to the point of bringing “bigotry” into the car world shows how penny pinching you are and how you miss the point of these cars. Just my own personal opinion of course.

Also just my own personal opinion: Just drive them!

It’s ok. You’ll make more money, don’t fret so much. Mindset of abundance and all that. It’s good for you. So is any Ferrari V12, even the one in PS ;)

:) Everytime your arguments are destroyed, I see you, like @HotShoe have responded "you don't like other opinions."

You do not see the painful irony?

I mean, you're the one here ya? You're upset that (aghast) folks like me defend Ferrari on a Ferrari enthusiast site? What's Hypermoral about that?

I mean @day355 says I'm pathetic for loving Ferrari (I had to double check if I was still on Ferrarichat). You're angry as well. I fully know neither of you will buy it. That's fine! Who's forcing you?

Do you buddy, and let us do us.

I think the joke is you either have not gotten out enough or you're a kid, because anyone well traveled would know this is true.

:) The adage Ferrari is like a magnifying mirror true; the marque often intensifies and reflects things that one might not see at first glance. That's why I love it, even appreciate all the folks that come out of the woodwork to trash it.

The naysayers often don't realize that criticism is part of the fun; folks like @day355 say I'm pathetic for being Ferrari fan, while it took some time to tease out, better late than never. I mean, I agree lots of folks don't like people that enjoy Ferrari,When he finally admitted his 'true' feelings, like I would be mad? heavens no, the dynamic has always been my point.

The ultimate irony of course is @day355 is here, it's like someone that keeps on showing up to your house uninvited, laying on the couch, harping how bad your home is.

I hate the Puro and i'm on your side with that but it's nuts here in london, people rarely turn their heads if they see a supercar because they are that common, people daily them :)

that's just what a certain portion of the media wants you to believe, in reality they are just completely underfunded with no resources

I agree that it's bad though, I've stopped wearing nice watches pretty much completely now

same problem in Beverly Hills from what I've seen

Here, it's not eco-terrorists snatching watches, but just plain old criminal rings.

That said, I noticed you said you hate the PS. May I inquire the reason?

I thought that Ferrari stated they would never make an SUV was an honourable thing and showed they had values whilst everyone else went out and took the money

The car just doesn't look like a ferrari to me, it's just not low and sleek enough and awkward looking from ever angle other than from the front

so to answer your question it's a mixture of what I think the car represents and styling, I am sure to actually drive it'll be fantastic and have a good practical aspect to it. the price is what it is.

    Thank you for your post.

    I completely sympathize.

The more I read about Enzo, the more I find the ethos of the road cars would logically follow the whole point of anything outside SF. Of course, if the PS replaced other vehicles, I would be of the same thought; however, just like the Dino never superseded the BB and existed in tandem, I find it incredibly hard to be consistent if I were to decry one but not the other. I saw the same behavior toward the Dino, and found it in bad taste then, as I find it in bad taste now. (I mean talk about sins? A 'cheap' brand with half the cylinder counts, and the engine in the wrong place.) It got so bad at one point, folks were actually pulling RiceBoy up badging because they were embarrassed of their cars. (seriously) - Makes the PS a patron saint in comparison.

I chuckle everytime I see at Dino coming off the auction block today. In life, I simply try to be consistent and if I make a point that rests on slope, my MO keeps pushing until it hits bedrock.

    ***

I never debate aesthetics; your viewpoint there is as valid as the sun is bright. I always respect that.

All in good fun, I actually enjoy the peanut gallery. We must be doing something right if we're being accused of bigotry....for what.......liking a car?

    :)

Perhaps this is connected to the recent elections in Italy? As in because we like this car, and it's Italian, then perhaps we're supportive of Mussolini?

(I'll stop here before I get banned for delving into P&R)
