The title says it all. We have the car specced, order sitting on the dealer's PC....we have a late 23 spot. Any idea when Ferrari starts taking the orders?

No clue from my dealer. They seem to think their GTS will probably start in 2024.

For whatever it’s worth, I reserved a GTS just before the window closed in July and was told I likely won’t see my car until 2025.

I ordered my GTS on June 20 and was told earliest mid 2024, latest 2025. So, 2-3 years. I’m sure it will move up with some people dropping out world wide.

I am a decent customer (plenty here higher than me) and put a deposit down a few months back and was told 2 years, maybe a bit less but he said I was high on the list and the wait is still going to be long. Haven’t waited more than 12 months is a while so I think it really is a delay in the production start up.

Ferrari is taking orders and has been for a while. I finally put my deposit down two days ago for a January 23 delivery. Timings seem to be very market dependent.

For a GTS? That’s oddly fast.

Not sure why that's odd - the dealer demo arrives in December. RHD car.

I have to laugh - your question is a good one - I meant January 24. My mind appears to be operating in 2021!!!

you guys do know that there is a difference between speccing the car and the dealer having your order and Ferrari accepting your order and you having an actual build spot. You can spec your car and have the order placed years later.....

You make a good point - order has been accepted and slot agreed with dealer - haven’t yet started on the spec but know I won’t be able to do TM with the slot I have unless I want to delay which, I don’t.

Above is awesome. I had the same reaction and glad I read it all. I know you are high up but I was thinking what the hell…3 months out…my dealer must hate me. Jan 24 makes sense as I was told spring 24 but may be a bit earlier.

I have no idea when my GTS will arrive, but given the extreme demand for the 296 overall, it feels like Ferrari got the confirmation they were searching for that there's a market for lower priced hybrid cars.

Its not that low. It'll probably be around 400k, yes lower than sf90 but smaller and less power.

The variables that the dealer and Ferrari do not comment on
    1. Allocations offered. Dealers go by past and possible. My dealer just got 11 F8 allocations at once… But haven’t gotten a SF90 spider allocation in a while.
    2. Ferrari pulling orders. Make of this what you will but it seems that TM and Atelier cars can get pulled ahead although no one will confirm. However with the percentage of TM going up, this difference may not persist. It seems that TM production queues have openings that exploit this secondary production line. Almost like a reservoir effect.

That said there were 296 and 296 spiders on the production line in Maranello in September.

I placed a GTS order on July 13 and was told to expect 2 years for delivery. A few days ago while in the MyFerrari app I noticed that a GTS is shown with a status of "Waiting List". So that is assuring to know that Maranello acknowledges that I placed an order. Progress! My dealer, Continental AutoSports, 296 GTB demo, an Assetto Fiorano, recently arrived. More progress.

Maybe it is more about being able to order a new rear-mid-engine Ferrari and the 296 is the only choice...however, if it has the propensity for hybrid/electric gremlins of the SF90 then the market will react, negatively

That 296GTS are already in production is a bit of a surprise, since I deposited within one day of the April reveal and am in the first few here, yet they warned expect Summer 2024. I've flirted with TM level options including PTS, in part to see if that pulls it up even more.
