Various USA dealers. Several of those SF90s have been listed for many months and some with substantial price drops (10-20%+), even some of those recently listed have price drops up to 10%. Sales are glacially slow. Interestingly some dealers are putting SF90s for sale on ebay of all places. I believe it will take a very long time to clear out that inventory and reduce it to an average of 25 for sale.
By anyone, yes, however, by authorized Ferrari dealers...I guess I am not watching ebay that often, I thought it was unusual especially because some of those SF90s listed by dealers have no 'buy it now' price but are simply open ended.
You already know of one such dealer, you find that normal? What other Ferraris do you know of being bought back by the selling authorized dealer for product malfunction? Maybe I am missing something, perhaps it is more widespread for other models than I am aware? Please fill me in.
And 134 for sale in Europe. Something tells me this is extremely problematic. Whats going to happen when the SF90VS arrives?
I don’t “need” to do anything. The purported “list” is every Ferrari dealer in the western hemisphere. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
There will logically be even more SF 90s on sale, until prices collapse. In 7/8 years, this car is unsaleable if you combine all the costs (battery, brakes, various electronic problems...). Not to mention that it is aimed at a new clientele that is not ready to put up with operating vagaries, beyond its volubility. I maintain what I wrote a long time ago, all these hybrid cars, 296 included, are consumables. You use it, then it becomes unsaleable after the third owner...
I think you are right but these cars are more expensive than cars of the past so they aren't moving nearly as fast. Lots of other options these days. By the time they sell there will be a new shiny object.
Got the feeling some non Sf90 owners try bash the car on every occasion. Clearly who owns and drive the car knows how good he is. It is made for driving and so far there is no competiton for that price for 1000hybrid Hp. Lambo maybe next year, probably to heavy as usual, Mclaren not befor 2025 (if ever), what else?? so to all owners drive it as hard and often as you can, the sf90 wont let you down.
It really is not about bashing the car for "sport". Its about a discussion on the issues, views, experience with the car. The inverse is also true - owners will praise the car no matter what as they purchased it. Fact is Lambo's V12 (due soon) by all accounts will be an absolute "monster, out there car" and McLaren 765 already will destroys the SF90 on a race track before they even bring out its hybrid replacement. These debates on blogs might at time get a bit "personal" and self serving but at the end of the day one must spend the money they way you want to as its yours.
Track: Anglesey Coastal McLaren 765LT: 1:11.14 SF90 Stradale: 1:09.99 https://fastestlaps.com/comparisons/ea3djpmtu20h
Don't bother, I showed Shack the same evidence of supposedly 765LT destroyment his mind isn't changed LOL The SF90 isn't even the light weight track special version as the 765LT is so not really comparing apples with apples but hey don't let facts get in the way of a good bashing. The thing is the SF90 will be garbage until he buys one then it will be the best car ever He's right about one thing, the Aventador replacement, I saw the car, sat in it and discussed the spec with the manufacturer and it will be a monster but that's not out yet and until that comes out and gets few runs on the board to see what it can do we talking hypotheticals at this stage the SF90 is the king, I have the Aventador replacement coming and will be able to compare the two.
One race prepared Ferrari with 26 engineers and stripped to the minimum with minimum fluids etc vs 1 off the shelf 765LT that comes stock. I know which car I prefer
Nice story Fortis. Fact it its still a 1800kg bloated car with aluminium chassis that flex's in the wind. But hey dont let me try convince you BUDDY
Both were press cars, on semi-slicks, driven by Steve Sutcliffe for Evo magazine. The numbers don't lie.
