another misconception/misinformation you got from YouTube, I know you are referring to the battery charge level, in Qualifying mode the battery is constantly being recharged so close but no cigar, I will be able to beat on your LT until your Nissan motor will give up on you LOL
No misconception. When u come into a corner you will be braking at 500m to stop that 1800kg of stuff you need to lug around. I will brake at 50m and first corner bye bye Fortis
My Latin teacher back in high school, when I told her I hated Latin, told me something I will never forget: “How can you hate something you know nothing about?” I started studying Latin and really enjoyed it. I will leave you with these words of wisdom because you can learn a lot from them.
Thanks buddy - I studied Latin for 4 years and hated it and continued to hate it - I did try like it though - same as the SF90
Both cars have been recorded at 30 metres for the 100-0 kph stop. The difference is that the Ferrari will be travelling quicker, so you will have to brake earlier. The difference down the straight more than makes up for it, as demonstrated by the lap time.
and when the VS comes out which will be the real track toy it will be even harder for naysayer to find excuses.
2 laps under heavy braking and it will need to sit. Trying to stop a 1000HP car that weighs almost 4000lbs will really wear tires and brakes. It might be decent on an oval though.
Wow that’s astounding.. if there was any UK circuit that had the edge for the 765 LT, it would have been Anglesey only..
My dealer had a track day last year and they let me bring my 765 and there was also an SF90. I ran at about 70% as I didnt want to destroy my brakes or tires but I can tell our speeds on the front straight were about equal but I could brake much later. Some of this might be driver but I was always confident my car would stop in a shorter distance primarily because it is a lot less mass - almost 1000lbs. Out of the turns he had better traction because of the awd but that's about it on a track. For an every day super car the SF90 is probably incredible but its no track weapon no matter what people want to tell themselves. Truthfully none of these cars really are but some are better than others.
Physics don't lie not matter how much people convince themselves with "cherry picked" information to attempt to back a narrative. Its only down to what one likes or doesn't like and I just don't like the SF90. There is no right or wrong answer
You’ve brought this guy to cheerlead for you? Hilarious, wrong guy mate LOL Point out exactly where I am misinformed, I own the car you are talking about I have done close to 3000 km on it track and road you just went for a drive once around the block in one and I am misinformed but you are an expert? You’ve noticed how I don’t talk about the 765? That’s because I have just as much experience with it as you have with the SF90 and if I don’t have experience I don’t provide an opinion. Anyway I am tired of annoying you here we will carry on on WhatsApp must keep this stuff private, got to pick up my GT4RS in few hours, I will let you know how terrible it is haha BTW do you even sleep ?
(1) I like the sf90. it is fun to drive, smooth, and as I said before feels like a gt car in many ways (save the space problem). it drives great in the wet, too. I dont want a racecar for the road. I want a racecar for the racetrack and a roadcar that feels like a racecar for the road. that is what the sf90 is. (2) when I bought my f50 in whatever 2001 or something, nobody wanted them. I think I paid something like 675k or so for it. it was easy to find and buy - took only a week or two. nobody liked them - I heard many things - ugly, impractical, too bumpy, too loud, funky dashboard, blah blah. that exact car sold for ... like 4.7m just a few months ago! now suddenly it seems everyone wants one. the point here is that people will like or dislike these things for one reason or another but that doesn't really mean where they are going to end up in some years from now. case in point: what is all the car produced after year X are all electric. people will want gas powered cars. but what about the "transition cars" that were part electric and part ice? will they be considered the cars that helped to usher in the new era? I dont know. I sort of dont care either, thats not why I buy them. I buy them because they are fun to drive and one thing ferrari has done a great job of is marketing: these cars make me feel good and they make people smile. (3) certainly I hope it doesnt go the route of the 456 or some of the other less memorable ferraris (mondial, 400i etc), but I dont think they will. when I ordered mine, it was the start of the pandemic: nobody was buying them so getting an allocation was easy. then when the pandemic subsided, suddenly they were impossible to get. yes there are many used ones for sale, but I just dont care. it was my money, I like it, and thats all that really matters to me. I buy them because I like them, not because I want to make money. if I wanted to make money, I wouldnt buy them at all, since it has been my experience that most modern ferrari's are not really a great investment when you add in storage/maintenance/insurance/etc on top of it all.
At least we will agree (in a few hours) how great the GT4RS. Full report please even though I have already been "balls out" in the 4RS at a race track No I dont sleep - sleep is for babies
Where Fortis comes from its called a "p*ssing contest" rather than a debate And FORTIS - you are wrong - period
I won’t have time to drive today, family time and they always come first. I will take it out tomorrow, come over.
What am I wrong about? LOL I am yet to hear a coherent argument. The Mac boys come in here like vegans going to a steak house complaining about their food.
