Hi These have been out of stock for a while. I have my first delivery on its way to me. hopefully by the end of next week. https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/tyres/225-50-16/225-50r16-michelin-pilot-sport.html the rears are on the shelf too, no probs. Sadly the P-Zero is still out of stock. We won't have them until next year and that is assuming that the world of manufacturing gets somewhere close to normal again.

As found on another 288.........compare with pic #2. And no, this is not a photoshop. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Read exactly and carefully what I wrote: "found on another 288." I am not talking about a replica. I am talking about another genuine 288 GTO. Except that one of the two cars is not that number........ As always, do your homework. Marcel Massini
Couldn't they have parked it closer? The one posted by Marcel has the last 5 digits of the chassis number in a non-standard font type & spacing.
Marcel or Joe, are you able to shed any light? I am just simply surprised that the car measures 50mm narrower than what all the stats say, 1855 at rear, 1860 at tips of mirrors compared to 1910 as published?? Regards Doug
Same VIN number yet different. I am thinking the lower picture is the fake but why was that done if it is found on a true and correct GTO. Intriguing but also a bit discouraging.
Thanks for reposting my photo (post 14527). Why was the restamping done? Simple answer: Because somebody wanted to hide a specific number (the real one) another one was chosen. Cars get stolen and crooks restamp numbers. Identity theft. Happens all the time. Marcel Massini
Did the cloned car end up in Japan like most back then? they seem safe from the law as long as they stay there it appears.
So, the 288 Evo did not sell... Funny enough, all traces of the listing seem to have been erased from the RM site.
I believe the 54783 with the identity problem is only a few hundred km separated from the unquestioned one
There was a time when we all thought the Joe Sackey book on the subject was poor but that has now been surpassed. This new book is nothing but a gratuitous use of premium paper. Make me an offer...and bear in mind I took delivery today... Paul
And upwards of a significant amount has been published in other formats (Ferrarisiama/Scuderia etc)...
Anyone know anything about a 288 GTO owned by Sergio Tontarelli, or someone with the same surname, could be a one owner car but I am not sure, thanks for any help
I run the page italy.registry and f40registry on Instagram and I'm looking through the many car collections and owners of special cars that exist in Italy, mainly the Ferrari ones such as Fedeli, Tontarelli, MOGAM, Comerio etc, and trying to make people aware of the special cars and collections that exist in Italy
