I was just going to post the same thing. I'm not a fan of yellow, having owned 2 yellow cars in my youth. But a 355 Berlinetta or GTS with painted roof actually look pretty good in yellow. Better than red, IMO. But a spider, typically with black interior, just looks gauche.

I would have thought that would have sold for more just based on color combo, but frequent selling and mileage plus possible odometer thing may scare some away. No one sells a car because it runs too good I suppose. Overall I think it was well bought. Not sure its due to a market as much as that specific car. Time will tell. Terrible time to sell a car, best is spring when folks a flush with Bonus cash. That Blue Spider sure was pretty though. Always thought Spiders should sell for more, they are prettier when the top it down to most peoples eyes.
Agree with Ferrarium. That was a pretty car originally, but had clearly been thoroughly enjoyed. If you were looking for a driver and were willing to overlook some cosmetic flaws, it was a good candidate. As much as I prefer the GTS, I don't think there is a $70k difference in smiles per gallon between this and a similar car with a roof.
