I have a Lamborghini Performante for 4 years plus, track days, road driving etc. and STO coming, I have done 50 plus laps at Misano in a STO I know what you are talking about but and this is a big but, both these cars STO and SF90 can co-exist they aren't mutually exclusive, variety is the spice of life, you like the STO buy the STO you like the SF90 buy the SF90, some people buy both, I love them both so much that I have to have both.

Why rubbish one model if your likes do not align with what the owners of that particular model really love? It just means it isn't for you.

Keep in mind the Pista is about 700lbs lighter and makes a lot less power. The speeds that the SF90 will hit on a straight will be much greater so scrubbing the speed is really going to wear brakes and tires. This is assuming you are pushing the car. In my mind none of these cars are equipped to track from the factory. I about destroyed my Pista within 5 laps and wasn't pushing too hard. I sold it shortly after. All the track talk is for nothing really, these are street cars albeit super fast and capable but they are not race cars so set expectations accordingly. Your new Senna will be the best of the bunch but it is truly purpose built for track use.

I am not sure I would track my STO, if the car compresses that cofango is toast. Depending on the track that is very possible.

I will only be tracking for fun I am not a pro driver.

I will track my SCV12 it comes with factory support and coaching, that will help me get better and better and enjoy the car as close as possible to its full potential or my limits, ultimately it’s all about having fun not breaking records.

Thats how I started but as you progress you may want to push more. Please post pics of your SCV12, I cant wait to see it. I had a Super Trofeo EVO 2 come in but ended up selling as I couldn't justify running in two separate series.

Here’s an interesting article, and not at all a surprise to those who really follow what’s going on and talk to decision makers. It doesn’t take a genius to work out where this will end up. Think about the timing of the article with COP27 going on…

Automakers should continue to produce internal combustion cars to generate quality jobs and remain an export force, EU Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton said.

Europe’s push for its auto industry to go all-electric poses risks to employment and vehicle affordability, EU Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton said, urging automakers to keep making combustion cars.

“I respect the fact that some are deciding to accelerate toward a 100 percent electric offer, but I also encourage manufacturers to continue to produce internal combustion cars, generate quality jobs and remain an export force,” Breton said in an interview published on French daily Les Echos on Friday.

The European Union recently reached a landmark deal to effectively ban new combustion-engine cars from 2035, which would reshape transportation and mark a significant step on the path to reduce carbon emissions.

Breton's concerns echo those raised by companies including Stellantis, which has warned the car market will collapse if the industry is unable to bring down the cost of electric vehicles.

Breton told Les Echos that the move to EVs may cost an industry that employs about 13 million people roughly 600,000 jobs.

He said he is counting on a 2026 review clause that he insisted on adding to the EU deal creating a mechanism for the 2035 deadline to be pushed back. He also said he will create a working group that will include automakers that will meet regularly over the next four years.

“There must be no taboo on the 2026 get-together,” Breton said.

Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis, arguably has been the most vocal leader about the risks of the EU’s phase-out of combustion engines.

“I am not worried about Stellantis,” Tavares said on Oct. 27, the day the EU reached its deal. “I am worried about the middle classes that will not be able to buy cars that cost 30,000 euros.”

Super Trofeo EVO 2 is such an exciting car and program but requires full commitment, at this point in my life I can not afford the time to commit to it but it is damn enticing.

The SCV12 program suits me because I can participate when and as often I decide to, factory runs everything which makes it very easy and convenient, I am extremely excited and the car is an absolute animal.

At the beginning of July this year I had done some training in the SCV12 factory prototype, my car is currently in the final phase of production, I hope it will be ready around February 2023, at this point I am intending to take delivery in May 2023 only time I am able to go to Europe, I have an insane schedule due to my work load.

I will attach few renders here.

Note to day355- The Ferrari diehards, while some may own other brands, are fiercely loyal and have little tolerance for any criticism of their beloved cars. Lucky has been posting novels in a valiant attempt to convince himself that the SF90 is stellar performer and more hyper than super car. Others, like aptly named cocologo, will wish to silence you since you are hurting the feelings of Ferrari owners. Ferrari owners, many of whom never drive their cars, would buy the next generation even if it had a 50 HP electric motor.

The only track version and street version that weighs the same is your 355 because it's a DIY kit - reality
When you have 1000hp and care to focus on the VS - you don't know that weight but you post in the thread.
SF90 is a car I am looking forward to in Spider version and hoping to move my allocation to the VS because it's been sitting in hold status.
I could cancel and order the Valhalla but I trust Ferrari more than Aston - when you get to this level I do not care what you have to say - I am only posting towards you in hopes you stop posting in sections to voice your dislike - over 100 times.

We know how you feel and don't care - no one is cancelling their SF90 and buying a 355 - you are so lost it's sad.

I own a lot of other brands - Senna 765LT all carbon spider and many others.
You don't get my point - you Day and others ruin threads - it's fine but you will never get owners to post here because of your comments.

You Day are the guys at C&C that stop people like me from attending - congrats you ruin it for everyone.

We can't get a clean thread about the topic - it's a waste of time of which I value more than you.

I try to give you the benefit of the doubt but I can only reasonably conclude you talk nonsense. I at least own and drive an SF90. I don’t ask you or others to agree with my findings but the fact I’ve ordered a spider also says that I at least believe what I am saying and put my money where my mouth is. I also never criticise other vehicles such as your 765, especially when I haven’t driven them. This is a car forum. Should be fun and without malice, lest we forget how truly privileged we all are.

My feeling that ICE is not going away anytime soon. There may be alternative fuels and hybrid technology that evolves but I doubt we ever see 100% electric. IMO electric is not the end all to power, there are many downsides to this tech. I do like what Ferrari is doing but they and others need to find a way to minimize the weight penalty. I also dont believe we need cars with more power than what they currently offer but rather a total package would be more ideal for enthusiasts. Look what people are paying for GT3's and RS's, 500HP cars that are fun to drive but not the most powerful or elegant. I am eager to see what Ferrari does with the VS, I doubt they find much of a weight loss but you never know.

All 100% correct but a number of us have driven the SF90 (albeit a few test drives) and simply did not like it. This "dislike" has resulted in the verbage "you have no clue - what do you know", "you didn't drive it long enough" etc etc. and has degenerated into what we have now. Thats the sad part actually.

I for one value anyone's opinion (especially day355) and while I may not agree (yeah I didn't like the SF90 and wont buy one) or listen, thats fine as I do enjoy the contributions to the threads each person makes. Silencing others through insults etc is for politics and the "Democratic Party" (now there's an oxymoron) :) :)

Everyone has understood with this very clear sentence that you are talking about portfolio and social status and not brand identity and passion.
Why, because on these last arguments you have nothing to say because you probably have no knowledge to share or discuss.
We understand that F 12 owners don't spend enough money to be listened to, you just wrote it... It's a bit pathetic on an enthusiast forum, but don't worry, we'll sleep well with our wretches F12...
There are two things that differentiate us, the first is the passion you don't have and the second is that I think you don't know how to hold a steering wheel properly...
I'm sure that despite our disagreements with @ Fortis, we could find ourselves behind a good table and a bottle of wine to have a great time and have a good laugh, but I'm sure that's impossible with you.
Have a good trip, and don't forget to learn the degressive braking before going into the corner !

I fully agree and have never had any issue with differing opinions, just because someone doesn’t like what I like or vice versa, doesn’t mean either person is wrong or right. There’s a way to present those opinions though, and for the most part people do that well here. There are always exceptions though and I guess we just have to live with that.

    Pretty wild here…
To all sf90 owners go and track your car. Cup R tyre can handly easy a mumber of hard laps
    Magny cours/Hockenheim/Spa, works fantastic.
I use normaly 2 sets of tyre during the whole day.
Same with the Gt2Rs, same with the 765lt (but on trofeo R) and driving home on the last set off tyre (300-700km to home place)
That is my personaly experience not of a friend of a friend.
If you folks have other experience on your own SF90, please let me know, would like to compare difference experience from real owner

There are likes and dislikes and then there are facts, likes and dislikes influence personal opinion and decisions but do not trump facts!
You might like or dislike the SF90 ( your feelings) and you are entitled to that but you can not distort facts.

Of course you'd agreed with those who hold your point of view there is no surprise there that's natural instinct, you talk about varying opinions and you willingness to listen to them, I know you very well, how much do you enjoy people talking out of their asses? Hahaha mate!! Please. You like to listen to the opinion you agree with.

One should properly educate themselves then speak, speaking out of school is counterproductive and a complete waste of everyone's time in particular when one is factually wrong.

Nobody is silencing anyone, freedom of speech works both ways, you can come on here and tell everyone whatever you want but my right to freedom of speech entitles me to come back at you with whatever I want, that's how freedom works.

The moral of the story is, once you have made your point express your dislike etc. repeating the same thing over and over and over brings no value to anyone, by now the audience knows where most contributors stand now it's time to allow the thread to get back on topic, create another one with the topic you would like to discuss and carry on there.

This is not the thread to carry on a debate of SF90 Versus (insert competitor car in here) the VS in the thread title I think stands for "Versione Speciale" not Versus.
