John, thanks again for a great photoshop! I think the lights set the grey car off much better than red. More confusion! :D I think I'll know for sure once Nick posts up results. Anxiously waiting for that.

I like the design but the grey is a bit too dark for me. A light smoke would look good, or ideally clear.

One question thinking about replacement: are these a sealed unit? The LEDs will at some point to fail. It's a high-heat, high vibration environment.

I may have done a disservice to these. They are mostly red, in the pics they ook mostly dark and the black centers look prominent. They are small and recessed I think the red will be much more prominent when actually fitted.

The Enzo lights have a reflective undersurface, so they are bright red, these are just red. In any case I don't think the dark centers will overpower as much as they do in the mockups.

Good point about the LED's, shielding will be a good idea, hopefully the metal brace, with an oring, will help with that. Case in point though, are they repairable if some of the led's fail.

I would imagine these would be interchangeable on a scud as well?

If you’re still doing the 5 person group buy at the discounted price, you can add me to the list. I’m north 1.5 hours away from SD.

In my conversation with Alan you need to let him know model year and build month so he matches the proper decoder. I think 2008-2009 F430 and Scuderia share same setup.

Good to know. I’ve just ask him to confirm this too. Awaiting for a response. As long as he can do it, shouldn’t affect how the Group Buy will carry out because everyone gets their own order is essentially the idea I’ll end up doing.

Sure shipping will be a little more shipping separately but everyone pays independently , shipped to their own address while benefiting from the GB price ;)

    It’s a win-win :)

thanks for the response. Yea all I know is that mine is an ‘09. Car is wrapped and the plate telling me the build month/yr on the door jams were wrapped over.

either way if you get a response from the person and that they are compatible with an 09 scud, I’m in. Thanks! The lights are gorgeous in my opinion.

Awesome! You'll be our #4 Pat. Btw I was curious how your car is wrapped and found your thread with the Satin White wrap it seems? Sooooo jealous as I want to wrap mine in that color too. These lights would look so sick on a white 430 ;)

@colorfull Thanks - they look good. Would you mind taking a few photos of the rear showing the mounts and wiring harness?

How's the red look compared to stock? They seem almost cherry red in some phots. Excited to see them installed and your impressions.

Hi Mark, I do not have the lights, I was doing mockups using the ebay pics. @nchhotu purchased a set prior to the GB and has now received them. Nick, are you able to take a few photos of the rear showing the mounts and wiring harness?

Joe - will leave for Nick to answer your question, bear in mind, the stock lights have a reflective surface directly beneath them which makes the red look almost like red-orange as they pick up a lot of light right at the surface. These may be the same color red plastic, but without the reflective layer directly beneath, will appear a much deeper red. OEM lights are also ribbed all the way around and in the back, these ridges make them appear yet lighter red as the ridges pick up even more light.

In any case, I am finding this pretty darn exciting!

It seems the reflective layer is there in the top shots, just no texture in the plastic. Can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing. My inclination is to think some type of design would have been a nice break up to just a flat surface. What would be cool is if we can get another group buy going to get some CF hoods made like the 488 Pista has in that picture :D

One step at a time I suppose.

To some degree, but deeper and further back on these.

On the Enzo lights, the reflective surface is pushed right up against the plastic on the entire ridged light making it really look light

    Just a different look

I would say these look much more modern

Hey Joe, as per post #58, I think the plan is going to be for each person to order and ship direct from the vendor, will make everything simpler and probably won't cost much more, if any, per person to ship than from California

Plus the convenience of coming direct to your door
