Im down to get a PS if I can. In the meantime Im about to close a deal on this new 2022 Urus. After driving one a few weeks back its awesome and Im certain the PS will be far better (and a lot more $$)

Hahahaha! Do you find it offensive that i commented that the arguments are now as nauseam? Feel free to ignore me if so! You put so many words in people’s mouths. Same pattern. I’m not offended. It is simply tiring when the dead horse is beaten over and over. But you can continue all you like, of course. No need to put you on ignore. Hahaha! It is all very predictable.

    Have a wonderful day!!!

The Purosangue's chassis although completely new and designed from scratch, remains more of the body-on-frame type. Together with the structural elements of the upper body, it makes up a spaceframe chassis. On the other hand, the Lamborghini Urus for instance uses a more unibody type chassis that seems to be modeled on the Audi Q7/Q8 platform.
One of the most noticeable benefits of the body-on-frame chassis is its off-road capabilities. Since body-on-frame chassis are able to withstand the twisting forces of off-road and uneven terrain better than unibody designs. Despite the Purosangue not intending to be an SUV and being the least off-road in this category, apparently it has a chassis that is more suitable than the one of the Urus for driving on uneven terrain.

Perhaps i‘m a little bit blind and hope this isn‘t discussed already
but is there a reason for no Purosangue section in the main forum?

Several threads and mentions. Apparently the powers that be don’t believe it is worthy of inclusion with existing Lusso forum and don’t want to clutter the site with this abomination.

This thread was originally in the F12/812/FF/Lusso forum IIRC which is appropriate. But was mysteriously moved to General.

Weird, but not changeable for some reason.

Cool, that's more than fair. I actually think your posts are great. So I won't be putting you on ignore. I enjoy talking about cars in car forums. Even if the conversation is about cars previously discussed. Glad my posts are not upsetting you.

    Kind regards.

Looks like McLaren will make an EV SUV by 2025 if this is to be believed (and since Leiters did Porsche Cayenne and Ferrari PuroSangue I think it probably is…)

Ah the money genius is back! Thank you for bestowing your financial knowledge upon us from your garage office.

I’ve been waiting for your pointers on how money should be made and spent, considering how successful you are in these matters. I really didn’t know what to do until now.

    Thank you :)

Paul don’t sweat it, we’re witnessing the death rattles of a few who are afraid they’re going to be left behind and want to make themselves known one last time before that happens.

    It’s the human condition.

I didn’t know some of you would be this mad.

Can’t wait to rip by you in the Purosangue, 3 passengers comfortably in tow having the best time 4 can have on the road together, while you launch into a diatribe to your 3 passengers, and sourly have a conniption about us from your awesome Other Brand 4 door you’re using to carry your passengers :D

And you think you’ve won the purist prize. By awarding it from yourself to yourself no less. Haha.

This is a duh. Yet you and your “we’re mad about this” cohort speak like your opinions are fact. I’d quote them but I know you’ll have nothing to say in response.

But really my friend it’s ungentlemanly that you don’t respond to messages to you after you get put in your place, then write general messages out loud. When talking to people in person and you get put in a verbal corner do you get up and walk away then start to speak to everyone else in the pub about it? lol

No but I get it, if you had anything substantively responsive you could say to those prior messages to you, you already would have. Yet you’re still typing :)

In any case, you seem to have forgotten that these cars are about driving, that’s “the thing”, that’s where the emotions actually are, it’s not in your kvetching, sorry to tell you this buddy. Talk is talk. It’s not “the thing”.

And you are accomplishing nothing by passing (in your head or in real life, though I doubt you have the entree to buy one and that’s in part of why you’re so salty, from feeling like you’re being left behind) on one of the last Ferrari V12 cars to ever be built, in favor some other random car.

A actual purist wouldn’t pass this up.

    Just my opinion ;)

Looks like I’m going to have to buy a bulk set of salt shakers and keep them in the PS for certain people…you’re number 1 on my list.

    Here’s your prize!

So I express an opinion based on past sales and depreciation for 2+2 Ferrari cars..and you decide to personaly attack me and my chosen profession. Good job. Shows alot of knowledge and class.

Make sure you hold on to your ankles real tight while Ferrari sticks thier corporate proctology instruments straight up your exit pipe. Enjoy.

What ext/int colors are you all thinking for your PS, for your use case?

When thinking about my use case, taking friends/family out and sharing the F car experience with them instead of leaving the F car at home, but also for carrying things without having to compromise and having to drive some lesser brand, I don’t love a red car. I think PS works better for me in a more muted color, more versatility is in order for times you really may not want all that attention.

Now that I see some good photos in bianco courtesy of @456-boy, I’m thinking bianco on rosso would be very nice and still relatively muted on the outside, while still interesting on the inside.

What are you all thinking for color spec on your PS?
