They look considerably larger. If you put the two faces together, how much larger are the new ones compared to the stock? I wonder if these will do a better job of filling all the gaps.

Hey Nick, if I may politely suggest, if possible to install one side, and then do brake lights and lights so we can compare brightness one side to the other that would be awesome

Side note, I like that they decided to utilize both lower mounting holes. Whoever did the engineering behind the original lights must have been an intern. They were destined to break from the beginning.

 

I think that's because he's holding the new one closer, they should be the exact same size

Good point. I think the way the center of the light is shaped creates a bit of an optical illusion as well.

 

Just waiting on the pics. These would look great on white. Hmmm

I really like these, I would love to have a set, but I don't think they look good on a red car, but probably will in any other colour. They look darker and more modified / moody on the red car. I think the smoked bit needs to be clear. Maybe they will be a grower, I'll chime in every now and then when people starting showing them in pictures.

 

They'd look super sharp with your gorgeous new paint finish

 

this is basically what I’m struggling with. I wonder if the smoked center section is molded like that or has a tint applied.

 

Installed them this morning. Took about an hour and 15min. Very easy DIY job. Will take more pics and video later tonight when it's dark.
Will put together some instruction but very easy.
