Definitely worth it. Classy update to the F430. Looking forward to taking some pics and videos at night. They look good quality and easy install and factory fit.
Hey John, could I ask a huge favor to have these new photos with daylight photoshopped onto the back of a red spider?
@nchhotu, do you feel the shade of red in the plastic is the same as the factory? In some shots, it appears it's about the same and others it appears more pinkish. Also, might be hard to tell, but did they seam like they were glued together or bonded with an RTV like adhesive where you could bake them and separate the two halves? Thanks again for posting all this stuff up!
I should be able to Joe, depends on the pics that Nick puts up, have to be able to find a compatible red car pic. The best thing would be for you to select which of his pics you wanna see on your car, try and take the same pic (angle, distance, lighting conditions) and send it to me. I already think that the photoshops I previously put up were all too dark. In the daylight pic Nick put up, the lenses are so reflective, they almost look more light than black in the center. Since the centers are essentially mirrors (reflective black plastic), lighting conditions will really determine the look. They do look super red at most angles, and all red when illuminated, that imo, looks awesome. Image Unavailable, Please Login
If I could get this angle, that would be awesome: https://www.motorcarsofjackson.com/imagetag/574/27/f/Used-2008-Ferrari-F430-Spider-for-sale-Jackson-MS.jpg What I need to do is find a few hours and just drive up there and see the darn things in person
Shade is not the same as factory. It's not pink but more of the same shade as the 488. Looks like RTV adhesive so you could service the lights if needed.
alright, @GogglesPisano and @boba fett , this one's for you Couldn't find a spider at the right angle, and this one is not quite right, but these are from Nick's pic above. I'd say it is pretty convincing..... Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you need a better angle, there's a ton of photos here if you scroll down: https://www.motorcarsofjackson.com/2008-ferrari-f430-spider-c-574.htm
thanks mate, they are growing on me, if post a picture of my spider at a similar angle to the one one on the flatbed, could you do the honours?
@GogglesPisano that last Nick shot should work, thank you @nchhotu @boba fett yes, but preferably, you should try and match the full rear shot (angle and distance) from post #98 above as that is the one I am taking the lights from
@GogglesPisano they just keep looking better.....def helps to have some recent pictures taken by Nick Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi probably the closest I could find mate! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Wow, This thread blew up since Nick's photos and videos. Appreciate them all Nick and John. If I may be critical, I see a few issues in terms of the lighting itself based on the video. 1.) The turn signal is on the inside, shouldn't it be on the outside or did you choose to place it that way @nchhotu? 2.) Appears to have an issue with hyper-blinking? Does it require you to tap into the OEM wiring harness to install that "fuse" to prevent hyper-blinking? 3.) Low visibility in direct sunlight. Not sure if it is the angle of the video but I could hardly see the brake light even at that close distance so should that be a concern for cars in the rear at a certain time of day? How bright is the reverse light during the day?
They look really awesome! I too am concerned about the hyper blinker and if it will trigger the light bulb warning light. Other than that it looks great! And on my scud I do notice the blinker on factory is the inner light. Not the outer.
I am in contact with Alan. I prefere the turn signal light to be on the outside as in his video. Alan will get back to me soon. Its brighter in direct sunlight than factory must be the angle. Alan sent a decoder harness for each side I will install it and see if it makes a difference but I am not getting any codes etc without it.
