My '87 328GTS began slightly pulling to the left when braking. I cleaned and regreased the pins on the floating calipers. That ended the problem.

I was able to get my mirror snug again by just taking the pivot screw completely out so you can get the washer. Hammer it flat and put it back in. Did this several months ago now and it’s held. Love the fall colors, don’t have much in Phoenix.

I changed the engine (and filter) and gearbox/transfer case oils. I hit 500 miles of easy, weekend cruises since August when I got her running, again.

Broke the switch toggle for the window lifts last week. So I epoxied the toggle together and it didn't work to well because I globbed the epoxy on pretty good. So before I put in an order for 2 new switches I thought I could 3D print a new toggle to hold me over until the new switches arrived. I built a new switch on CAD and printed off 2 new toggles. There were a few issues with the parts once printed. Image Unavailable, Please Login
See above current broken toggle with blob of epoxy on the top. Quite a bit more epoxy added to the under side (which was the
problem) The switch toggle normally has an up arrow and a down arrow. As I was building the CAD model with the arrows I thought why not put a CAVALINO to the up arrow. The first round of 3D printed parts had several issues with clearances and pin diameter etc. I made for the below switch with one obvious problem.

The original switch should look like this

Here is the next revision with a few corrections shown on screen. Ready to print off a few and swap out the broken arrow switch with not an original but correctly enhanced switch toggle.

    Making a list of the current niggles to resolve during a ride as NNJ weather at 82 degrees is exceptional for this time of year;
fuel smell making sharp left corners (it's the fuel breather hose i'll bet)
The front air dam has a rock dent from the day after it got resprayed & film covered(naturally)
Need two new banana vents for when the dash gets recovered with the a-arm pillars
A new rattle on hard acceleration - probably some heat shielding
Blow smoke into the exhaust to find what sounds like a new exhaust noise.
A new oil pressure sender as she's showing low on the gauge (again)
And passenger window speed up & down is getting worse.

Taught myself some CAD skills and 3D printed a gearbox alignment tool for the 308, now just have to try it out

The door was to open when the time was right. Congratulations on your custodianship of a Ferrari. She is beautiful. Wonderful story.

Thanks for your reply! I was in the middle of editing the photo and was called away, when I came back one of my cats was sitting on my phone enjoying the warmth of the screen.

Something happened and it looks like it froze on the edit part of the program and deleted the post… I do not see a way to reload it…

    Cheers!

You did a phenomenal job. Beautiful seats and spotless interior. Would you care to share what steps you took and what products you used?

I hope I was a good steward for the brand. I invited these guys for a closer look at a fuel stop; they were true gentlemen. We talked for about 20-minutes. I always enjoy sharing the experience. My goodness, my hair is grey….such is being 50…

Such is the joy of owning a Ferrari. I love letting kids (and adults) sit in the car. Selfie time for them. After all - it is just a car when it boils down to the facts. Just a really nice and admired automobile. Why not. I just make sure no shape objects in the back pockets.

Forgive me if this is repetitive, but this was unique today. I was having my normal, obsessive compulsive routine with the F and Pcars when this gentleman stopped….He was towing a neighbor car…He asked to see and take pictures/videos for his YouTube channel and Instagram account. Per his request, I pulled the 308 out of the garage.. We talked for about 30-minutes. As always, I hope I was a good steward.
