Red Bulls looking good, followed by the Merc's...Ferrari way off. Maybe turning up the engine works for Ferrari but their race pace is godawful, so even if they get a pole the chance of winning is as good as zero.

As long as RedBull have tire wear in the correct window, this will be a Max win/RedBull win.

Ferrari looking GOOD to take 4th in the constructors.... This is like 2021. I few more races and Mclaren would be ahead of them...WTF

Is there not a minimum speed required on the outlap? I'm not a fan of more regulation but that was some pretty extreme speed differentials

To be on the cusp of being overtaken by Mercedes in the WCC in the final race is an absolute disaster of a season for Ferrari. Anybody calling that a success and an improvement is totally clueless.

To say that merely winning some races is some great accomplishment is pitiful. Ferrari are the most successful team in F1. To be fighting for grand prix wins is a bare minimum expectation for Ferrari.

not really. it's my understanding that you can go slow, just not on line.

I'm fairly surprised there hasn't been a huge crash since they started this outlap to get set, hotlap, slow cool down...

They're ahead of MB, I think that's all that matters at this point but ferrari def looked way better in quali compared to the 2 previous GP's

5 kph down on the RB, but Ferrari is running their high downforce package, Red Bull medium.

So the engine is not down tuned at all, in fact it's turned for quali. Race they'll turn it down again.

Biggest worry is the tyre deg for Ferrari.

That said, I'd rather Merc beats them in WCC as it gives Ferrari more hours in the wind tunnel next year

It's funny because yestarday i was thinking: Charles is at least 3 tenths quicker than checo, so if the Ferrari is only 3 tents a lap sllower, he'll be fine.....it was close, but not enough!
