This appears to be the first customer Emira that has done a dyno run.. 353 rwhp (401hp at the engine) and 443 Nm seems more than enough to have fun, and there will almost certainly be a factory-backed upgrade of around 35hp and 40 Nm available for those whom want more. https://www.komo-tec.com/en/blog/news/news-emira-tech-405hp/420nm
It’s not a lot more hp, but it is a fair bit more torque. And, given how awesome a 355 is, why would you want more?
Why would I want less ? I'll be keen to hear what you miss and don't miss when you get the LOTUS ................... I wouldn't miss the harshness of the CH on normal roads, I would miss the supreme handling of the Ch on the track
I can make a few predictions that I suspect will turn out pretty accurate. I will miss the look and sound of the 355. As good as the Emira looks (and it seems to sound pretty good too) it’ll never compete with a 355 in those areas. Almost nothing can. I will miss the fact that I’m not driving a Ferrari. I expect the performance to be noticeably but not massively better. I think it will feel faster mainly because you won’t have to wring it’s neck to get the performance out of it. I expect the handling to be at least as good as the 355, probably better. I am certain the steering will be miles better (that is the 355s only significant weak spot, IMO). And of course it will be light years better in terms of comfort and the whole driving environment. None of which is to diminish the 355 which will always be a more special car than the Emira.
And I will send you another email tomorrow responding to your second email letting you know the result and if your input is required....thanx.
