430 Headlight holder changeout….

I got the head light assemblies off and now it seems there is a sealant over the plastic covers that needs to be removed in order to change the holders to carbon fiber. Anyone have a proven easy way to separate these and prevent damage and what to use to seal them up after changing them out? Thx! Matt

 

Matt, I think you gotta heat them in the oven to separate But double check me. and I also believe there a diy thread on these. Maybe you tube?

 

You can buy a silicon sealer remover from a local diy shop, try a tiny bit to see if it works
