Welp, I guess my dealer has a flair for the dramatic. Apparently he got word yesterday that I got approved for a PS allocation after all, and he waited till today to let me know.

I’ve got to decide if I’ll take it in the next few days. I’d probably have to trade my 812 GTS for it as I don’t want to carry two V12s. Not sure if I want to do that.

 

Is he asking for $30k deposit ?

Yes.

Also apparently the PS is a one year required hold no matter what without the usual six month trade in to selling dealer exception.

They really want to make sure early buyers are into the car and want to drive it. That honestly doesn't bother me or affect me as I give all my cars back to my dealer anyway when I'm done with them. For me it's just a really difficult choice to make not knowing what the 812 replacement is. If the last NA V12 is going to be the PS then I'd rather keep the 812 GTS. If the 812 replacement is truly NA then I'm happy giving up up my GTS for the PS knowing that I can get the next NA V12. From a pure I want to hold on to the last Ferrari NA V12 forever, not for value but for pure driving euphoria, I don't want to be left with the PS as my last V12.

Making these hedges without actual info is not good.

I have seen, feel,and touched (lol) the car this week, and if you are not looking for the 4places, and the versatility of it, I am pretty sure you will not choose the PS over your 812GTS, … just saying

 

Really beautiful and classy color. Works pretty well with the wheel arches, too.

 

I traded in my GTS and they told me they will give me PS allocation. Next thing I know I’m the PS is growing on me. Didn’t even think I’d ever be interested in one

I apologize to everyone here, I admit now, the future of cars, ferrari, everything. Dead. I was in denial before, now I understand what all of you were telling me about EV tech and trying to be 'politically correct" was ruining everything. @day355 please accept my apology, I agree with you now. Cars today is the best we'll ever..ever..ever get. In fact, I'm trying to acquire as much cars today because since we're in the midst of 'peak car' I'll make a handsome pay day and retire early.

Exotic SUV are actually pretty fun. I Bought a 2022 urus last week and ordered a new performante for next year. Just purchased 22 oem wheels and winter tires and it will be a great mountain/ski car this year. I’m hopeful but doubtful I’ll get a PS allocation but would certainly take it

 

Just think of all the Purosangues that will be cut in half for stretch limo conversation.

Me I want one with a lift kit, winch, snorkel, bull bar, & set of Dick Cepek tires.

Back to normal Purosangue, do we have any idea of the first dealers test cars deliveries and customers deliveries?

 

Believe UK customer launch party on Thursday so maybe someone will know & post more Friday

 

I guess the real nut cuttin time on the PS will occur when the V12 for the "launch" clients becomes replaced with the V6 hybrid for the rest of the run.
