Fred Simeone was the driving force behind the book. The museum is unaware of any activity regarding its current status or completion.

Yes, and if it’s L.C., Jr. I’m not sure the folks at David Bull will be up to the challenge. My guess would have been Dalton Watson coming in.

Sure. I had asked DB Publishers whether it was ok to share the info here before posting. Your suggestion seems consistent with that approval.

I think that is the Enzo Ferrari Book Publishers Edition, bound in leather, per info. on their website.

    Yep, correct Dave.

It's not for me (I'll stick with the first edition hardcover) but will be interesting to see who they actually get to sign it.

At only 265 copies I wouldn't be surprised if it sells out fast.

I am seeing the original version selling for $200+ now. I wonder if there will be second printing.

Apparently Nada Editore from Milan will do a second edition.

It’s an absurd price. As far as signatures go I can’t think of anybody still living whose signature might be something of value or had much to do with the company or the team during Enzo’s lifetime. Luca? Piero?

Well that's what I was thinking.

Who are they going to get to sign it other than Piero, and which racing drivers would they find of historical significance relating to the book ?

They think they can find 265 leather fetishists forking out silly money.

I contacted Bull Publishing to find out about the signatures, this is the following who will be signing the book:

Luca di Motezemolo; Mario Andretti; Jodi Scheckter; Stefan Johannson; Gerard Berger; Simone Schedoni; Luca Dal Monte and either Maria Bull or David's two children.

Whether it's worth the cost is a personal decision, I think that's a pretty good selection of signatures and hand bound in leather by Schedoni, I think the cost is not out of line with other publications of a similar type.

Well, that’s a photo book with a little different perspective than most others, so it might be worth a look.

I think they would find buyers out there but it won't be me.

As Dave said, original copies are going for good money now so I'm assuming many missed the boat on the first edition but buying this special edition is an expensive way to own a copy.

I’m looking for a good, complete, clean copy of The New Matadors by Ken Purdy. I’ve seen the ones available on the web and they’re either overpriced or in poor condition. I’ll pay up to $50 plus shipping for the right book.

    Thanks.

    New book out.

Mainly raced in national Italian events, the ultimate Stratos. I believe you would have to visit Japan to see one now. The Japanese collectors seem to love Lancia, Abarth, Alfa Romeo and all small engined Italian cars best.

I have the 2 previous books by the same author the Delta S4 group B and Lancia LC/1,they are very well researched. Will definitely add this one to the other two, great price for the amount of content they provide.
